Thanks alot guys Well the monkeys at DG basically screwed up my letter as at the beginning it states they wont be refunding my legal costs: "Firstly, your claim for expenses of 80.00 is noted and denied." But then the the offer includes it... "This offer is compromised of charges applied to your account in the sum of 658.00 and the court fee of 80.00." So dont know what they've done there, but the total sum offered is right anyway so ill just make sure thats the amount I accept in my reply to them. Anyway my claim total meant that i wasnt charged for the AQ so all is as it should be. I will update my thread with all the dates of all the events over the last 4 months when i tweezer them out of nettys thread, posted all my things over there

Well still no news, talked to the county court, they received my AQ but not HSBCs, theyre waiting till monday incase the AQ is with them but just hasnt been processed yet, at which point theyll move on to the next stage. Managed to get debby daubney on the phone, she sounded pissed, lol transfered me to the 'right department' when she heard i was checking on my bank charges claim although the right department was an answering phone. Who knows. Anyway, the longer this takes the more charges ill have to reclaim as im overdrawn at the moment, lol. I seem to remember reading someone starting another claim and they just refunded the charges and closed the account. Sounds good to me, then I can get a student account with someone else. Something I should have done a long time ago. They've basically had me over a barrel. Not for much longer.

Nothing here, so its back to emailing the entire DG team everyday asking for an update, until either my offer arrives, or one of them is polite enough to actually reply! Wow netty thats a lot of money, lol. Turned out to be quite a good savings plan

Just to confirm, I dont have to include a fee if my claim is for less than 1500 correct? And, Should I send a breakdown of my charges to the court with my AQ? Everything else is filled in and ready Cheers

Hey verytrying, I havent really looked too much into it yet. Ive set aside tommorow to do it all from start to finish. I do have the N149 however. Just glancing at it it says set out any other information you consider will help the judge manage the claim, including info that should be supplied by the other party. I imagine that here would be a good place to say the other party should supply a breakdown of the costs they incur everytime someone goes overdrawn, which of course they wont However im sure there are threads with all the info you need to fill out these AQs. If you backtrack on this thread im pretty sure they are linked to.

Having checked the date netty, they actually sent it out to me 2 weeks ago. I just opened it today as im back at my parents house. Nevermind. Anyway Ive sent them a polite letter declining. So i guess its back to bugging DG

I think the date they had to file defence by was the 17th, but they have already done it - they just decided to make me an offer aswell as tie up their legal department!

Check the post netty, Just received a part offer! 469.00 offered, though I am claiming for 688 plus 80 for the mcol costs. So they can go to hell....lol But pretty close anyway If lat is watching, any chance you could point me to an "acceptance of the offer, but I still intend to continue my claim for the full amount" type letter, im bloody terrible at navigating the boards.
