  1. Hi everyone, this is still rumbling on i'm afraid, but we need more help... Greedy i know!. Now.. Are you ready??? I'm looking at page 24 of 40, (the first page she provided) it starts "Balance bought forward which i thought was the account balance from the previous page...I have listed the beginning and end of the page that is confusing me.. The numbers and bits in brackets are what they relate to. They are however, obviously, just a list of numbers in the relevant columns on the statements... BALANCE BOUGHT FORWARD: 1904.64 1.(Date)10/08/06 2.(Description) Cheque - 100891 3.(payment)7.95 4. (Receipts) blank 5.(Balance) -1,273.15 There is then a list of 28 transactions on page 24 of 40, the final one being: 1.(Date) 21/08/08 2. (Description) Direct Debit - (blank detail) 3. (payment) 31.23 4. (Receipts) blank 5. (Balance) -1508.18 Balance Carried Forward 1,661.66 The following page, pg 25 of 40 starts: Balance brought Forward 1661.66, the next transaction again takes the figure into £-1516.51, the final transaction takes the account to £-1402.14, however the Balance Carried Forward is £1767.70.. Page per page, it starts on a positive, has transactions that end in massive negative figures and at the end, the balance carried over ends up on a positive?? But the transactions don't reflect this...This is still in the area where transaction detail is missing.... The statements are addressed to her new address, so are not original statements, and are print outs... I know this is a lengthy post but your replies are soooo helpful... Oh,and on these copies, the IBAN and BIC are missing, having checked the other disclosure statements, they are there.. What's that all about!! HELP! Again.... x

  3. All my god... I have just found this... This sounds like ours... However, oursjust don't seem to make sense how it is only a selected period and then hit and miss throughout the single printout... Would love to know your views... http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general/47250-incomplete-statements-no-transaction.html
  4. I need to ascertain if my partners ex-wife is trying to produce to a Court, edited bank statements from the Halifax..I think she has (but is that because i have a vested interest!!) Either way, if she hasn't,we shut up and move onto the other lies she's put in her statement!!! Please spare a few minutes to have a look at the link below... Sorry, i have gone on a bit on the detail, but think it is really important to establish the truth - and if we can prove she is lying in Court... Well... Life begins!! Many many thanks for your time... It is much appreciated http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/halifax-bank-bank-scotland/135222-details-halifax-bank-statements.html
  5. Can anyone confirm they definately been edited...?? If you go into a branch and ask for copy statements, surely the layout wouldn't change mid statement... Would it?? I believe they've been edited as i explained earlier, but i don't bank with Halifax but as the Court case is coming up, do we now push for a Urgent Court Order?? I'm not sure if it's normal procedure but if someone is about to blatently lie to the Court, do we go to Court and get the judge to direct the banks/credit card companies produce the documents instead of relying on the PBFH.. it's such a big decision as we'll have to pay for the Solicitors and the Court time - and it's really hitting us hard now?? We need to prove the lies or else b/f could lose the only asset he has left..
  6. She has delayed producing proper financial disclosure from the beginning, not producing correct documents, or answering questions yes or no, avoiding poignant details we have asked for... and the final hearing is next month, On one occasion she didn't turn up at Court ringing in the morning saying she thought the hearing had been adjourned - why ring the Court then!! She used to work in a Court and she has Barrister b/f giving advice, so they know how to run up costs and delay proceedings.. but all we want is to keep b/f pension, which was what they verbally agreed when they divorced and after he left her with everything after she had the affair!!!!. So, we need to prove she has edited her statements, On initial disclosure there were 2 lines missing on those statements she produced, again which looked like they'd been edited (the 3 month disclosure she produced, instead of the 12 she was meant to provide) however the figures added up... Strange!! she really is playing, every time we send a letter it costs us £50, so she is doing a good job at bleeding us dry!! Under data protection, even with a Solicitors letter, we wouldn't get access to her account from the bank... So, what do we do??? Accept the statements she's provided??? I struggle with that.. How can she get away with this?? To me it's tramsparent what she's doing,we just need to prove it...
  7. We only have photocopies but they have the Halifax logo, account number, name and address etc, which makes me believe they are the proper copy statements, however, the pages are numbered 22 of 40, 23 of 40 etc, however when we get to APR 07 (copies of statements she has previously provided) then all of a sudden the transaction details start to appear, ie, the shops and locations, so as its all on the same printout, could that really be the case...?? The Stress!!!!!!
  8. Thankyou so far, we know she is trying it on, but we need to prove it... The description of the transaction is our bone of contention. The latest statements provided are missing the description but only from August 06 - April 07, it either just says DATE, BANK CREDIT or BANK DEBIT, PAYMENT AMOUNT, BALANCE. No detail regarding transactions.. however, where we have received the duplicated the copies sent, APR 07 - AUG 07, the transaction details are there, so it must be that she has either she has edited them (as i previously stated, these dates are before she knew we were going to Court, so will prove that she was never destitute, as she is making out..) (tippex prior to photocopying always works well!!!) or Halifax have changed the way they have produced their statements from 2006/2007.. Thankyou for replies so far.. I hope this clarifies things.... Thanks again....
  9. My partner divorced years ago, but never finalised the financial issues... Despite getting everything, the PBFH is now trying to claim his pension. It's the only asset he has left, as he is still paying the loan off that he took out to get rid of her in the first place. She has new partner and they now have plenty of money, however we are skint, live in rented accomodation and have just reached about £10,000 in legal fees!!! She is representing herself.. (Partner is a qualified barrister!!). The ex has played games throughout the financial disclosure, and provided as little detail as possible.. When this started she was still in the marital home, she initially provided 1 months financial disclosure (statements, expenditure etc) before she became devious!! She ran up her catalogues and credit cards to claim poverty ( a treadmill on one of the statements is a necessity you see!!) We asked her again for the bank statements and she then provided 4 months worth... (still not the 12!!) Since then, She has sold the marital home to a company for a £50,000 loss before we were able to get the house valued - as directed by the Court!! Allegedly, new partner has bought the house, filled the house with furniture, bought a new second car for himself... that she uses occasionally... as she gets the bus to work - whatever!!! and he gave her a cash gift of £3000 (as documented in one statement and paid for thier holiday to the Maldives last month... Anyway, a month before the Court case - last week - she has eventually provided the bank statements we requested. We requested statements from August 06 - August 07, the same that we provided to her, which would of proved her erratic spending before she knew to manipulate her finances... However.. The copy statements she has provided from August 06, the statement just shows the date and either bank debit or bank credit and the amount... It does not show any details of the transactions, shops or location. I believe she has edited them before copying them... However.. I don't bank with the halifax so i can't be sure... Can anybody who banks with the halifax or works there please let me know for definate that this information would be on the statement... She won't provide her credit card statements either stating this will cost £180 in total, she has credit cards with Egg and Barclaycard, and again it's the transaction details we require... Are we just to accept she can lie to the Courts and hide information?? That is if she is.... :-? Sorry about the length of this post... and thankyou in anticipation... Please can someone help..
  10. Morning, i have also just started claiming from Lloyds, and also have recieved one of those letters stating that they have suspended all claims.... Is this a delaying tactic or should we carry on regardless?? Help!!!

  13. Having looked through some more of the site, i am now tempted to pursue the charges post 6 years!! When i started my career 10 years ago, i ran my account about 200pounds beyond my means - due to childcare costs originally, but then as the charges became higher and higher, my overdraft went up and up and then i was called into the bank where they offered me a loan. Then a few months later as i was still living beyond my means, they offered to top this up - again and again and again!!!! In the meantime i was having charges thrown at me left right and centre. Whilst i am able to recall these difficult times, i do not have my statements. When i sent my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request), i never specified that i only wanted 6 years, however that is all they sent!! I am at the MCOL stage for my original claim (altho the bank have written to me telling me that my spreadsheet is holding incorrect information that doesn't agree with thier records!!! They're is another thread about that tho!!!) but i'm becoming more bitter about what situation the bank put me in, the loan was only paid off last year - after i sold my property.... By that time i had defaulted - my credit rating is crap and feel that HSBC did a lot to put me there!!! Can anybody help with where i go from here??
