I am looking to fight for my charges back from Aqua from 2006, if anybody has any starting points on persuing credit card charges any asistance is welcomed xx

Hi Guys, Just a quick update received a response from Natwest from the LBA I sent. Same old jargon that my claim for bank charges have been logged with them and as soon as a decision has been made with OFT, they will look at my compliant, blah, blah, blah!!!!!!!. Anyway, will be starting court proceedings this week, I might as well get in the queque, hopefully get some money back in the next couple of years. Leanne

Hi Steven, Sorry, to sound like im questioning you, but in my local county court they are still proceeding with court claims against bank charges, so I only thought stayed cases were the county courts were awaiting Judgement, please correct if i'm wrong. I am only upto Prem letter so if this is the case i'm a bit disapointed. Thanks Leanne

Thanks Richard, Cashed the cheque today into my Branch. Cant tell you how pleasant the cashier was when usually this particular person is quite rude when I have been in previously!!!!. She was one of the staff previously, who stated I WOULD NOT under any circumstances get my CHARGES BACK!!!!!!! C.A.G ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Leanne xx

hi guys, Ah thankyou so much for the great comments, really appreciate the support you have all given me!. A big big THANKYOU to you Caro if it wasnt for all you support and endurance I couldn't of done, honnest. Jules, thanks for the sound advice. The amount that I have settled is £3058.00 inc court costs, 8%interest and daily interest upto 17/5/07. Funny, Caro you should mention the acceptance letter as I only sent it off yesterday and this morning got a carded note from the Royal Mail saying they'd been with a letter that needed to be signed, presuming that the cheque is enclosed, was at work so will have to pick up from depot tomorrow. I agree Caro dont think they had intention of waiting for my acceptance as YB already new they had LOST!!!!!!! Cant wait to cash the cheque already spent the money 3 times over!!!Oh well will at least get a new bathroom out of it. HA, HA HA. Anyway, once cheque clears i'll be making my donation to this site and will still regularly log on to check how you are all getting on. Thanks all, once again Leanne xxx

Hi Guys, GOOD NEWS!!!!!!YB have sent me a settlement letter for full amount I am claiming for. HOORAY!!!!!!. Quick question when I sign the offer letter do I put a covering letter with it saying that until I receive and cheque clears I dont send discontiunce of letter to courts?. Leanne x

Thanks Jules, Your right once I stopped panicking I have collated all my correspondence that I have sent to YB and put into another little bundle I will hand into court tommorrow. well done Richard!. I have just took my court bundle into court today and sent my bank bundle off to LEGAL SERVICES, GLASGOW Recorded delivery today. I had until 11th May to send bundle off but wanted to do it a few days early. You seem to have been lucky that the bank offered you an settlement before you sent your bundle off!. Most of the cases seem to be that once the bundle has been sent off, they send a letter of settlement. I personnally believe they do this so you spend more money on photocopying its cost me a fortune on ink cartridges and waste full time spent collating it all when I could of been spending quality with my children. Anyway, congratulations again, hopefully my settlement is not to long away! MCCALL VS YB (just in case you want to know what progress i'm making). Leanne x
