  1. Well done babe. I'm well chuffed for you. Treat yourself now, You deserve it. BIG KISS:D
  2. How you doing babe? Can't believe they have dragged it out like this for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Any post yet this morning?? Rich x
  3. Hello sweetheart. Not that it helps but when I got mine together I chose the "genuine pre-estimate". This wasn't on the advice of any mod, just did "ip-dip" I'm really rooting for you now. This has gone on far longer than it needed to. You must be getting some money soon. I'll keep checking in on you.
  4. You getting in a flap young lady?? Come on, you know you are fine. You were the one advising me what to do. Lets sort a date for when you spend your winnings on buying me my victory pint of bitter.
  5. Looking at everyone else's stories, I have been really lucky getting mine dealt with so quickly. I think it helped that I got my claim in before the sudden media attention. I completely agree withyou about all the copying and preperation time it takes. I had completed my court bundle but had not made copies.I was going to make them the day before they were due in. If it had come to taking them in, I was going to hand them in personally at court and post YB's copy second class. I didn't want to pay more than I had too. I have been keeping an eye on yours for a while as well as Sajabu's. Your virtually there now. I imagine you'll get your money in the next week or so as unless there are any errors in your claim or AQ then they will just want to get rid of us asap if they know we are willing to take it to the end. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you babe and hope that your thread will be joining mine in here very soon. Cheers
  6. Money in the bank today. All sorted. Notice of discontinuance sent. Hoorah. Took just over 4 months from asking for money to receiving it. Don't know what all the panic was about:razz: Please can I be a success story now?? Please please. :D
  7. Hi Pheobe, Just a quick one and i'm not 100% positive on this but you said that you paid £250 for your court fee which implies you are claiming between £5000.01 and £15,000. I don't think you include the interest for your court claim when determining the court fees. I think as the charges are £4117 you should only be paying a court cost of £120. Can someone confirm this and possibly explain it a bit better. Kind Regards and best of luck Richard
  8. I'll definately be loitering if thats ok. I wanna see how Sarah (sajabu) gets on and also see your second innings too. Logging on is habit now.

  11. Cheers Lillboy but I'm not celebrating until I can smell the money. I have got my bundle together but haven't yet sent it off. It doesn't have to be with court until the 07/05/07 so I have another week until I need to send it in. Thought I would wait and see if anything happened before I wasted time and ink making the courts and YBs copies. I have sent letter of acceptance by post and fax today to YB. I have told them that I accept the offer as full and final settlement of THIS claim. I infored them that I have signed a notice of discontinuance and will hand it in at court once funds have cleared in my account but until then I will proceed with my case. I have also thanked kirstie for the 'time she has invested in dealing with my case'. I'll let you know when the cheque arrives.
  12. Hi Caro, I got muddled up with the interest thing and just claimed for interest up to date of claim and not settlement. I didn't really know what I was doing with the interest up to date of settlement and in my rejection letter last week I wrote the amount I wanted (with interest up to date of claim). I don't want to push my luck by changing things now. It couldn't have come at a better time aswell. Me and my girlfriend have been talking of getting married. I can actually afford a decent ring for her now and make a nice proposal with a bit of money saved away for the wedding. Caro, you have been an inspiration through this claim and whilst I know its not over until the money is in the bank, I want to thank you for your guidance along with the other moderators. Once money is in the bank I will make my donation.
  13. Cheers babe. Lets keep our fingers crossed that yours comes through soon. I'm going to keep loggin on to see how your doing. And yes....the drinks are on you;)
