  1. Thanks for providing an answer to my question, but I see no need for your follow up comment. I'm well aware of the "reality of my situation" with regards to the first ticket, I started the second thread because it had no bearing on this particular case and I was seeking an answer to a question that I hadn't been able to find on my own.

[it is well known that parking companies will reject any appeal whatever the circumstances] N/A 5 Who is the parking company? NCP 6. where exactly [Carpark name and town] did you park? 3. Hi all, I've had a look around the forum and couldn't see anything to answer this question: Does anyone know the standard for photo evidence that has to be provided for one of these charges? I know with real PCN's issued by a local authority they have to show clearly the vehicle's location in relation to signage and a photo of the signage itself to prove it's an enforceable area, does this apply for private land charges as well? I ask because I've received a charge and they have simply taken photos of my car from front, back and sides, very close up so you can't really tell where I'm actually parked and there are no photos of any signage included. Is it worth appealing on these grounds? I assume they'd refuse the appeal anyway but if it was elevated to POPLA (or court) would this be grounds for cancelling the charge? Thanks in advance for any advice
  4. These should be properly redacted now, attached add a single pdf as requested. Thanks NCP letters.pdf
  5. Apologies for the delay in replying, hopefully I can still get some advice on this issue. I've attached a copy of the original ticket and the Keeper Liability Notice, can't seem to locate the NTK unfortunately. The plot has thickened slightly due to my delay in dealing with this and I've now had a letter and email from a DCA, no idea where they would have got my email address from though. I read up a little on the Beavis case then mentioned and it seems the consensus is that only applies to time restricted free parking spaces so wouldn't really apply, so more typical misinformation to scare you into paying up. Again, thanks in advance for any advice
  6. Thanks for a such a comprehensive reply! I'm working at the moment so I'll dig out the original ticket and NTK when I get home.
  7. Apologies for the delay, I've uploaded photos of the signage here: http://imgur.com/JOymVTB http://imgur.com/uH3pEaV It looks pretty comprehensive to me but perhaps someone with a bit more savvy can spot something?
  8. Thanks for the quick reply 1 The date of infringement? - 04/10/16 @ 13:18 2 Did you appeal to the parking company? - No If yes, has there been any response? If no, have you received a Notice To Keeper? (NTK) Did the NTK provide photographic evidence? Yes, and photographic evidence was provided online 3 Did the NTK mention Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (PoFA) - Yes, I checked the NTK for compliance against a post on here. 4 If you appealed after receiving the NTK, did the parking company give you any information regarding the further appeals process? [it is well known that parking companies will reject any appeal whatever the circumstances] - I didn't appeal the NTK 5 Who is the parking company? - NCP 6. where exactly [Carpark name and town] did you park? - Union Place, Worthing Thanks
  9. Hi all, I reclaimed my PPI from a number of lenders a few years ago using the great advice and letters etc on here, eternally grateful for that! But.... I've had a few calls from claim companies over the last few months and they claim that a lot of lenders knowingly underpaid on PPI claims and that more is owed. I was wondering if there's any truth to that and, if so, would it be a case of following the same process as previously to claim the extra owed? Thanks, Nick
  10. Hi all, Looking for some advice regarding a parking charge received in an NCP car park for having an expired ticket. I park there every weekday for work, I pay for 2 hours as I'm in the office usually for about an hour before heading out again, but on this day I was delayed leaving and returned 20 minutes after it had expired to find one of their lovely bogus charges. I received the ticket stuck to my windscreen, with the time of year and seemingly countless work and personal life issues I didn't get round to writing an appeal. The Notice to Keeper arrived in due course and I haven't responded to that either, most recently I received a Keeper Liability Notice stating that it is now too late to appeal and they will pass the matter to a debt collection agency who may take me to court if I don't pay up. Now I'm not worried about their scare tactics, but I've reached the point where I have room in my brain's limited attention span to deal with this What would be the best course of action at this point? I understand that I was at fault but they're asking for £100 which is ludicrous, and I know they cannot charge more than the amount of lost revenue for the car park owner. Should I write to them offering payment equivalent to 1 hour's parking to cover the lost revenue? Thanks in advance, Nick
  11. Actually, that's kind of the point of what I'm saying - if you could show that a bay was unenforceable then you wouldn't have to pay the ticket, it doesn't matter if you work for them or not. But thanks for just coming right out and saying what I'd said in a previous post - you don't like traffic wardens so you're happy that one may be losing his job. What a fine human being you are.
  12. This is very much the case and I hope that it's the route they choose to take, I've never had any disciplinary issues before in the 5 years I've been with the company and I work hard. To answer a couple of the points from other posts: the colleagues that issued the PCNs to my car were either inexperienced or not exactly part of the A team. Generally when unenforceable areas are identified everyone is made aware but memories are short for some people and there are so many problems around the city we simply can't brief them all on a daily basis, and if we did I can guarantee people would stop listening after a couple of minutes. Thanks for the advice and criticism - I know parking is an emotive issue and I hope that people aren't simply thinking 'Traffic warden might lose his job - GOOD'. I have a family to support and this is a cause of great concern to me.
  13. It forms part of the training for new recruits, so it should be documented somewhere.
  14. It is standard procedure that if a ticket is issued in error then we try to retrieve it and cancel it, as I said we do this every day as people inevitably make mistakes. There isn't a particular procedure relating to employees receiving tickets. An investigatory meeting was held earlier in the week, I was entirely honest and explained the circumstances that occurred on each occasion.
  15. You can tell if a space is enforceable or not by looking at it, if it has lines and a sign then it is, if it does not then it is not. So far there has been no disciplinary, I'm still on suspension and am expecting to hear tomorrow how they intend to proceed.
