  1. Hi All, Is the claiming beyond 6 years just for Lloyds customers, or can we all do it, I had an accout with Natwest and Barclays that I got into trouble with when I was out of work - lots of charges, can I reclaim them, and will the still have all the information for 8 1/2 years ago? cerisemercedes
  2. Hi, I started making a claim against Nationwide back in November and had the usually standard replies, but I never got around to doing the N1 claim form to the courts which would of been my next stage, do I have to restart the letters or can I just put in claim to court, is only £120. cerisemercedes
  3. Thanks for all the replies about my cheque and already have a list of things to buy including car, and a whole class party (as can not whittle it down) for my daughters 5th birthday!!! Also forgot to mention took a while for cheque considering it was dated 11th December.
  4. Sorry was not around to answer, been into town, dead old Bath!! Anyway, cheque had my name into account and account number on, I gone into Nationwide and explained everything, because I rang cobbetts and assured me it is fine, but Nationwide said that cheque may come back from banking system. Paid it is and will just have to see what happens. Cerisemercedes
  5. Is Allyxia around, Deller I know you said is a reference but want to know how she done it, I rang Nationwide and they said if have account number on, I cannot pay it in. cerisemercedes
  6. Hi All, Today I WON WON WON, Nice cheque for £2868, which has made my new year, the only problem says into account which is defaulted with Natwest, I read somewhere that it is just a reference, or do I need to sort out something with Natwest, as wanted to pay into my Nationwide account. cerisemercedes
  7. Deadline for AQ was 18th December, knew that I would not get the money for Christmas, but would really like to get it very soon, am still waiting for a court date, so will have to see whether payment or to court. I am desperate for this money now - had a very bad Christmas. Christmas eve - car died, is getting scrapped today Boxing Day - lost purse, with over £50 in, cards in, and thing most worried about photocard driving licence - would just be my luck to have my id stolen. 31st - Printer decided to finally pack up, ink was spilling out everywhere. Hoping 2007 going to be better cerisemercedes
  8. I know that scotcall are all over the country I live in Bath, I am not just going for the agent, scotcall are the people that employed him so going to make another complaint, this time in writing after all did break the data protection act, also understand that I can write to company debt was originally from stating what debt company has done. Will make sure everything goes in writing and recorded, I know how these companies work "have not got a record of that" blah blah. cerisemercedes
  9. Hi to all in this forum, isn't this site brill!! I am having a problem with a debt collector from debt collection agency Scotcall, two times he has called around and spoke about my debt to a man in the house, considering debt is in Miss, you think he would know this man is not the person, I have been married for 5 years but left all my debts in maiden name. I made a call to scotcall to complain, and didn't let person get a word in edgeways, but said complaint would be dealt with and I said was not paying anything until sorted and did not want debt collector calling around again, especially as I have two children under 5 am at home at night on my own and he keeps calling around about 8pm. Anyway to cut a long story short, he called around again asking why I still haven't paid anything, and said I made a complaint about him, he said he would pass back debt to company but he blatently lied saying the man said yes when asked for the name with no title, I know he lied because man which does happen to be my husband said yes she is not in at the moment, the first time and second time he said I was putting kids to bed - which I heard the whole conversation as I was only up the stairs. I understand that I can make a complaint, but how do I get around what he is saying as it is his word against mine, he is such an arrogant man, that I really want him to get his comupence(not good spelling) cerisemercedes
  10. I am new to Nationwide part, but am not new to site as nearing the end with Natwest for nearly £3,000 but I feel it is such a joke that I decided to claim for only £90 and Nationwide are fighting me all the way, my next stage is to get in N1, luckily I don't have to pay any court fees as I get necessary benefits. Is it taking a long time with other Nationwide customers, also got to go up with Lloyds it is also for a small amount, but I feel there is a whole principle to getting the money back. cerisemercedes
  11. Hi, Rang court and have been told that they have not recieved cobbetts allocation questionnaire and they had until 4pm to get it in, which I somehow think they would not of as it was 3.45pm. I actually sent a letter to cobbetts in the post today because I overlooked a bit on the defence saying that I did not particularise claim, which I sent a letter saying did not need to and sorry I overlooked, but I also said I am going to make a complaint to the law society if they don't get a move on.
  12. WELL CONGRATULATIONS DELLER!!! Was away for the evening and come back to computer this morning to find that you actually won yesterday. Definitely go in for claim of AQ, but I also think you should wait until the cheque clears. Hoping mine not far behind, but have a really wonderful christmas. cerisemercedes
  13. Hi Paul, Damn, was hoping for a settlement tomorrow as noticed that someone last week had a deadline of last weekend and go full settlement on the friday. I would really like the money this side of Christmas, have done the kids presents but would like to make Christmas dinner a bit more luxurious as have several members coming for dinner. Also when they took all these charges they STOLE my Child Tax Credits and Child Benefit.
  14. Hi, Deadline for AQ is this monday, have not heard anything else from them, do you think I should give cobbetts a ring to remind them especially with last posting days next week!!??!! I am going to ring the court later to day to see if they have received anything today though. Also today I recieved a final notice from Wescot for the remaining overdraft balance, I understand that I just send a letter saying amount is in dispute considering I am owed over 5 times the remaining amount. I will also send a letter to Natwest Collections Unit with the same.
