In Oct 2005 I bought, NAVIGATOR 5 - Software & Maps of Western Europe, I used it with my then XDA IIi, but later broke the XDA, now ive tried to install it on my new XDA Orbit, and the new activation code now supplied by TomTom.com wont work, Ive asked for help from TomTom.com & they refuse to help me unless I provide proof of purchase, even though I am a registered user & have product history with the user ID. I bought this in germany & they are saying. " Unfortunatley we are only allowed to activate the map for another device when we have seen a proof of purchase which has to have purchase date later than the map was last activated. You can read the license agreement here, http://support.tomtom.com/downloads/TomTom_License_Agreement.pdf With Best Regards The TomTom Customer Support Team " Please help :?

Question; the 94d charges statement has charges listed for different dates than the statements, so technical can I request both charge lists, although they maybe the same ones ? Ie. 31/04/2001 statement = charges as notified 01/05/2001 94d = charges as notified after all they are providing me with a list of transactions & charges ?
-
Just got my statements from my mum funny how they started the statements from the date I phoned them NOT the date they received the SAR in Aug 06. But they still sent a 94d letter from 2000, so going to complain & when send letter asking for charges money back include the threat on the bottom, as they are conflicting information about how much information they hold on me
-
Ok, I applied for the statements last August and sent a LBA for one account not sent out, got the "charges" letter, but not the transactions, now "they" say their sending them for just 6 yrs worth, when i get them , am I back at the LBA stage for charges back, or ask for charges & threaten to go to court in same letter ?
-
just been on with halifax, and the lady informed me that under the SAR they only hold statements for last 6 yrs, anyone else had this one recently ? have they started getting rid of further back statements or is another letter the way forward ?
-
Thanks very much emma, will phone in morning as im only after a data protection inquiry. Didnt say I was yet after claiming anything back. cheers very much xxx

Got mine back after a very long time and also posted today, to ask why havent we recieved what the SAR actually demands the complete transactions shedule not their version of charges print. Does state : List of Transactions and charges. going in today to halifax to ask the question, might even have a printed out copy of the ICO forms in my hand to drop an even bigger hint to them.
-
Right just recieved a list of '94D' charges incurred from 2000, but using the standard SAR letter should'nt I have been sent All statements from the accounts creation. ? I am right in thinking this, not just last 6 yrs.
-
but with that way round you could write a letter and date it 25 days previously and send it off, cutting down days for SAR's so to stop the Git's claiming fraud I tend to use the day apon recieved
-
wouldnt be so bad if i could take my wpn into the bank, well they have been robbing me for so long

Help! - Halifax employee & Joint Bank Accounts
Brit replied to Hi G's topic in Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland
Dont tell him , to answer the question of "employee" dont mention it at work, and you having a personal account as a client, has nothing to do with your job. -
Dont worry they have the statements, least for 6 years they have to, by law, but send the SAR in the template section, cos it means you want all the statements since the begining & they are legally bound to send them.
-
Doesnt matter if they cashed it or not they, they've received the letter, thats their fault if they lost it, all you need is proof from here; http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/track?catId=20700386 print out confirmation of the receipt, and carry on the process of LBA's, remember the 40 days start from the point of receipt.
-
Ive tried that specialy with the recent BACS screw-up, they charged me after not paying me my salary for paying a DD "over limit" and charges for going over limit. "yes Sir, we'll refund that to you, its our fault." Nothing so far.

O2 Taking the mick Advice needed Please
Brit replied to Yankeeruinx's topic in Telecoms - mobile or fixed
Did you "sign the contract over the phone" cos if they lost the tape / then NO contract. -
Is ok my mail will go to my registered home address, anyways decided to use the template of ive received some but not all LBA letter and sent it to Miss Hinchliffe, by registered mail
-
well sent an email to the halifax (as listed on the sticky's) however does this count as contacting them or should I now send the LBA to them ?
-
from now on only use recorded delivery letter to commicate with them, as a phone call (unless u record it) isnt worth the paper its printed on.
-
Anyone currently serving can get their medical doc's and photocopy them, just pop down the medical centre and do it.
