Hi everyone I have issued court proceedings to yorkshire bank however I am still getting phone calls and treatening letters asking me for all of the outstanding amount from a DCA on the behalf of YB. what can I do I have nowhere to turn. Can they still ask me for the money despite the full amount being in question, I thought they had to wait to see what happened at the court case, we have not had a stay put on it yet, but we are expecting one being requested pretty soon. Thanks I will have a look at this, however just recieved a letter from solicitors asking for all the money back so going to give it a try anyway.

I requested a hardship form from Northern rock as I am unemployed and I can't make payments to my debtors I have contacted CCCS who has made a payment plan for me. However I haven't received my hardship forms from Northern Rock so I phoned them today to say that I had not received them yet. And to my utter surprise they told me they had not been sent out as I am still in credit by 90p is this right. I am finding the northern rock are a difficult bank to deal with they owe me £1340 in charges and have told me they will not look in to my case until the test case has been heard despite me claiming hardship.

Hi everyone, I am currently in the process of taking YB to court, however they have issued a notice of default stating if I do not pay with a certain date I will be defaulted and proceedings taken against me. I have sent them a letter stating to pay up or else we go to court, but I am not sure were I stand. :shock:Please help

No I don't I am going to reply to their letter to state that they have harrased me and that I think I am owed a apology at least. What do you think? p.s. thanks for your reply

Hi everyone, I need help with Yorkshire bank I have recently fallen behind with my payments, when I say fallen behind I have been about £40 short of the minimum payments, so I phoned the bank and made a arragement with them, however I am still getting on average 15 calls a week from them I have sent in the letter stating that I believe that they are harrasing me and that I request that my phone number be removed from their records. I have recieved a reply today stating that I am only getting the phone calls as I am in arrears and that phoning me is easiest method to contact me. And that they believe the phone calls do not amount to harrasment. Then they go on to say that they have set up a arrangement for me (which I had done already) but this arrangement has now been increased by a extra month - don't know why. What do you think I should do now?:?

Can anyone let me know if they have claimed charges back from Northern Rock, I am sick of getting charged £30 a shot and I am now been laid off work so it is going to get worse I have just had a letter off them saying that they have took £60 for two returned direct debits. I don't get any notice of them taking it, it is just gone in one foul swoop. I have really had enough of them.

Need help, I have just recieved a final demand from the council saying that they have sent me a invoice and I haven't replied so they have give me 7 days to pay £2700. However I have not recieved any such invoice or any other letters from them. Can anyone help.....

if they send proof that my girlfriend owes this amount can I then ask for a S.A.R. I am also going to send a letter to the carphone warehouse asking why the address has not been changed and also what if any has been put on to her credit ref. file Do you think this is a good idea or not ? p.s. thanks for the quick reply

Hi folks hope you can help, My girlfriend has just received a letter from F.I.Ltd stating that she has a outstanding debt with carphone warehouse for a mobile phone. The letter went to her old address which she moved out of a year ago, carphone warehouse had her new address but in this letter that they had sent to her old house they state that she has ignored previous letters (which she has not had as all letters including junk mail has been passed on to her). I have said to her to ask for a CCA and maybe a S.A.R as she give notice of terminating her contract and was paid up to date, she is a born worrier and will not owe anyone any money even if it's 20p Can anyone give me some advice on what to do?????

I hope I am posting this in the right place, I have just received a letter from the courts asking me to sign a form to have deductions from my wages, after not paying my county court for money I owed on a flat that I use to rent. However I have never received any paperwork from the courts to inform me that I was being taken to court. And now I have found out that I have a CCJ and that I have not been paying it when I knew nothing about it. Can someone help me Also.... I owe £19,000 in other debts and I am currently unemployed I was thinking about making myself bankrupt do you think this would be wise. Thanks in advance

I have today received a enforcement notice from LloydsTSB. Stating under section 76(1) of the CCA 1974 their are withdrawing my overdraft and will be charging a max of £200 per month until my account is paid in full. What should I do, I have been holding off taking these to court until the oft has been and a desicion has been made, it is this right or wrong I am in dire straits at the moment I am totally skint with all of my wages going on trying to keep my head above water, but I am sinking fast....

It's the one I used, then you will get a response back from their Legal department which is in churchill place, canary wharf london.

just to give you a update. I have still not received any money from Barclaycard despite them promising to refund my account.

Well done, at least they sent a solicitor to your court appearance, I had no one turn up and no communications were made to the court to say that they had settled. But at least it's another case won - yipee:D

They have not put the money in my account yet, so I turned up at court and explained to the judge what had happened and he has agreed to withhold the judgement until I let him no either way. It was a good experience and quite a informal one, the judge was very nice and helpful, he also wished me good luck for any further cases in the future. So just waiting to see where the money is.

I went to court today as no money has been paid in to my account, I told the judge what had been offered and he has agreed to put it on hold until i contact him to let him no either way. Let me know how you get on, fingers crossed for you.

I think it is, no other reason for it. But at least their are not getting any of my money anymore. Any word on your claim yet?

I have just received a phone call from Barclays saying they don't think it is cost effective to go to court and are willing to sort it out of court. However I have been asked to keep it a secret - so don't tell anyone right p.s. they have cancelled my card though - so be careful....
