  1. RESULT!!!! 2 cheques in the post yesterday, randomly dated a week apart but in the same envelope, but who cares about the details!!
  2. i spoke to them yesterday, they said as far as they were concerned the cheque had been posted 2 weeks ago, however the person responsible for posting was off until monday 5th so they couldnt confirm. i will call back monday, if there is no satisfactory conclusion i will file for warrant that day, i was just waiting for payday really, so final chance
  3. quite a few of us have entered judgement since xmas, have a read through the top 10 threads in the IF forum
  4. well done matey, i'm hoping for a cheque TODAY or else!!
  5. just had a few emails saying they will call me, but no ringing phone as of yet! think i'm applying for the warrant tomorrow.
  6. question 1: go for it, i believe no-one has ever lost, ever. question 2: look in the templates for a part payment acceptance letter, if you cant find it post back and i'll copy mine on here. the fact that they've offered 50% already with no pressure should spur you on to claim the full amount.
  7. so this is your letter before action (LBA)? where are you copying it from because mine doesnt contain that text
  8. which letter have you sent so far, the subject access request or the prelim approach for repayment?
  9. well, 8 days since judgement was accepted, in that time i have had a phonecall from hbos saying i claimed for the wrong amount thats why they havent settled. i pointed out that their client supplied the list of charges so how could it be wrong? he agreed then that they would settle and would call me back that day to tell me how i would be paid. that was 5 days ago and nothing since, so i've sent an email saying that if i dont hear by the end of the day i will file for a warrant.
  10. there will be no investigation or an outcome, so send the letter. also, stick to one thread so people can see what steps you've already taken.
  11. the faq's dont actually cover his question though do they? judgement has been granted, if havent paid and he's wondering whether or not to start the warrant process, as am i.
  12. way above my level matey but i would suggest browsing the other forums for knowledgeable people, hardly anyone comes into the IF one.
  13. winner, i checked mcol and it said judgement accepted, i emailed the person at hbos who wrote the letter and they said they would see what was happening, but all that was 3-4 days ago and nothing since. well done meister by the way!!
  14. its sad really, i think it should be merged with the halifax one, seeing as we deal with the same people. i had to post a thread on the halifax board and pm individuals just to get a response on here
