  1. If this is so, lets all continue with Small Claims Court, and in addition complain to the F.O. 100,000 complaints would cost the bank £36 million.
  2. Lisa, please advise the address of the branch and I shall show up to see you collect the claims cheque -- purely as an impartial observer, not because you will be wearing a nearly see-through CAG t-shirt.
  3. What is the legal difference between "unlawful" and "illegal" ? Can £10 charge be reclaimed, even though it is below the £12 maximum as pronounced by the OFT on 5th April 2006?
  4. The standard template from all banks want claimants to refer to the Financial Ombudsman. Why is that? Have they nobbled the F.O. ? Do they know for sure the F. O. will rule against the OFT pronouncement of 5th April 2006?
  5. HSBC sent my 72 monthly statements - twice, in 72 different envelopes each time, that's 144 firstclass stamps, plus their computer time and staff time, a cost to them well into three figures.
  6. Some may recognise me from postings in Betfair, ever since 6th April 2006. Both Lloyds TSB cards and HSBC bank are trying to make out they won't refund. Just got to go through the dreary task of lodging my Small Claims Court claim. Where is the best place on this site to read up Lloyds and HSBC form. And later I shall tackel Egg card and MBNA card. Have all my charges plus compound monthly interested listed now in excel spreadsheets.
