I am going for the specsavers re-test on monday... I just want to get all my ducks lined up so I can go postal at somebody...
-
I wore them from the Sunday till Wednesday, and to be fair, blurred is blurred.
-
I had an eye test in Vision Express and then took the prescription to Specsavers to buy my glasses. When I collected the glasses from specsavers they just aren't right, my vision is slightly blurred, not massively, but enough that it is noticeable. Specsavers have offered to do a free re-eyetest because they think Vision Express have mucked up the prescription (they would say that mind) and are adamant that my new specs are correct.... So assuming they claim the prescription is incorrect, where do I stand... I've paid £100 of the £219 to specsavers...I am going to have to buy the duff glasses and order new ones?

I'm probably being a biff.... I'm trying to work out if we can get help with the childcare element of our tax credits... Both of us work more than 16 hours per week... what I am after is some kind of table stating the earnings breakdown to qualify for the childcare element...ie, what is the maximum we can earn and still be able to claim IYSWIM.... Thanks...

Interesting about the AG charges, I don't remeber signing anything to get an advantage gold account. Should I have done? has the new year brought you any further to resolving your claims?8-)

Well NatWest have settled. After sending an LBA they paid out the full PPI amount and the intrest applied to the PPI but not the statutory 8%. I probably should have pursued it, but I just was happy with £7000 for the cost of a few stamps! Of course they didn't admit any wrongdoing and it was only a gesture of goodwill!! Thanks to everybody who helped me out, especially hellhasnofury.

Did I hear you mention that you were claiming back advantage gold charges as well? What angle are you using on that one? (providing you don't mind me asking of course)
-
Is there any danger of a bank closing your account whilst/post reclaiming of PPI like they have done in bank charges cases? Anybody heard of this?
-
Inspired by my ongoing battles with NatWest I've decided to do some digging on other loans and possible PPI I've had, but I can't find a template SAR letter. Am I being stupid and blind? Does anybody have one they could help with? Also do I need to know the loan account numbers to send off a SAR, or can I just request all the info they have on me?
-
How is this so? Being in the RAF and also reclaiming, I'd be curious to know.

Another email and the LBA going to them today. Can't help but think they are going to call my bluff though.

I've pm'ed a copy, what do you think?
-
Typing as we speak, perhaps you could run an eye over it before I post it?

Ok I'll draught up a letter. I'm a bit worried about this bit: "I am now sending you a letter before action giving you a further 14 days in which to reflect. I believe that this time frame is sufficient for a large company such as yours with its dedicated staff and departments. After that, there will be no further communication from me and I shall issue a claim at the expiry of this second deadline." Do you not think that as I say there will be no communication from me they might think that the matter is resolved? Secondly when I say "I shall issue a claim"... does this mean court?? And if so how do I do that as I'm not expecting them to refund my money? Thanks a lot for your help and time:)
