bobtheb v Barclays **WON**
bobtheb replied to bobtheb's topic in Barclays, BCard and Woolwich successes
I settled for statutory, they were wiliing to pay without argument, and i needed the money:DI didnt want to antaganise Barclays unnecessarily, they are my main bankers.Morgan Stanley paid contractual, but have closed my account:( -
i just sent mine to the address on the statement, they get to the right place:)
-
:mad:The banks are beginning to retaliate!I have finished all my claims 12 all together, now i am getting letters from the banks.Barclays,'we regret we have to remove the cash facility on your card.'Amex credit facility withdrawn. Morgan Stanley 'we would like to carry on business with you BUT because of your claim we can not! Credit agreement withdrawn in 30 days Anyone else getting this treatment?
-
it will have been transfered to your local court, you will receive an A/Q to fill in shortly, depending on how busy your court is
-
6 years, but try reading all the threads on here about claiming longer
-
They get 40 days then try this http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/6986-data-protection-act-non.html
-
well done keep on going
-
:eek:why not start yours now, there are lots of waitng periods with Barclays.Mine took 6 months from start to finish see http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclays-bank/38883-bobtheb-barclays.html
-
this is perfectly normal.make sure they stick to your timetable,ie 40 days:) read all the FAQS and the process will become clear!
-
It wont do any harm to start on your court bundle, although it may be a while before you need it:)It willl give you time to learn what it is all about,so you are confident when ,hopefully, you speak to them on the phone in a few weeks
-
:Dlifes a bit easier now, just had a few days in Krackow, followed by a weekend in North Yorkshire:Dnow back to the grindstone !!
-
get your court bundle done, and wait for a letter offering settlement,be prepared for a little bit of wrangling,if you've not heard by end of Feb give them a ring
-
1 you dont HAVE to send A/Q to Barclays according to my court 2 it doesnt sound normal ,have you spoken to any of the courts?
