  3. Had no reply to my last letter turning down there offer of £525, rang them 5 days ago i was told i would get a reply and a phone call with in three days, Still have not had a reply. So today i have submitted my small claim though the county court, now after £1274.59. Looking forward to my day in court!!
  4. Already won £170 against First Direct, HSBC playing it out to the end, dragged out the sending the copy off the statments to the full time, sent in first claim on 19th April, reply came on the 8th May for £525 half the amount, now sending new claim for balance. Lets give Mr A Pretty hell! Its nice to know that you had a savings plan that is just about to mature!!
  5. Just Settled £165 with First Direct. Sent HSBC data protection act disclosure request on the 8th March 2006 same time as First Direct and still waiting for a reply. This is my main account and will be big looking at full 6yrs! By looking at this web site HSBC will drag this out to the 40 days. I have sent all letters 1st class and signed for safety. Its like a saving plan i didn't know i had! Good Luck all!
  6. First Direct very quick sent off for all data on my accounts on the 8/3/06, reply back in 7 days, sent Request for repayment on 17/3/06. They replied on 29/3/06, offering to pay back the full charges of £165 but no interest and without prejudice. Then I rang and got back £5 for text charges they had taken as well. So £165 back for two letters, thats £82.5 a letter. now i know what it feels like to get lots of money for not doing alot!
  7. First Direct are very quick turn round in 7days. Just send your data protection act disclosure request to:- Customer Relations Manager First Direct 40 Wakefield Road Leeds LS98 1FD Plus I would send it Royal Mail 1st Class and signed for. Best of Luck! Paul
