  4. Good luck Wickerman. Keep us posted.
  5. I don't think you need to send details of the charges to the court when you file your claim. The totla amount you are claiming should be sufficient. I sent a copy of my spreadsheet (just charges, not interest) with my prelim letter. If you haven't done that I wouldn't worry. It doesn't make any difference to the way FD deal with things. I suppose that if you do go to court (unlikely), you will want to produce a list of charges as evidence. Good luck!
  6. No chance Monkey. I'd rather it was spent on Stella.....
  7. Why don't you use the spreadsheet in the library Lillboy? You simply enter the amount of each charge and the dates they were applied and it calculates it all for you. It also updates the interest on a daily basis. Much easier!
  8. SL, I saw your post on Maisielou's thread that said she should use the post-code LS10 3TP when filing her court claim. Will the LS98 post-code not do the job?
  9. I would wait until the 14 day deadline you set in your preliminary letter has expired before sending your LBA. That will show the court (if it gets that far) that you have acted reasonably when pursuing your claim. Good luck.
  10. The spreadsheet in the library does add the 8% interest to the amount you are claiming. However, you don't do this until you get to the stage of filing a claim. Until then, just ask the bank for a refund of charges - £1,169.50 in your case. Good luck and keep us posted.
  11. Standard reply received yesterday from Mr Kernaghan. Countdown to Moneyclaim!
  12. Claim the £30. That's what I and everyone else are doing. After all, £12 is excessive for them doing absolutely nothing!
  13. I've been really lazy but finally got round to sending my LBA on Friday.
