  3. Please see above for new links to scanned documents. Thanks
  4. I have only received that which I have uploaded. Is there something missing? Do you mean the small print on the reverse?
  5. Scanned documents uploaded - note that Tuesday wsa scratched out after the event. http://i38.tinypic.com/2lbnxir.jpg http://i36.tinypic.com/iqv68z.jpg
  6. oh dear...under my posting rules it states "may not post attachments". How is this changed?
  7. Southwark parking services have initially rejected my appeal. They have stated in their letter that I will have to wait until I receive the NtO before I can make a Formal Representation. I will upload the scans shortly. The contravention code is 19. Many thanks
  8. Thanks for your reply. My appeal was a letter to Southwark parking services after a few days of receiving the PCN.
  9. My appeal against my PCN has been turned down. I appealed because although I had placed a correct parking ticket in view I had not scratched out the day. I had only scratched out the month & the date. Therefore, although the day had not been revealed it was still obvious what the day was. Any similar experiences or advice? Cheers
  10. Success! A & L acknowledged the MCOL claim and then sent me a cheque for the full amount the following day, which I have accepted. The claim was only for a single charge of £30…which finally cost them £60.
  11. Just had my reply from to my first letter requesting repayment of charges. Standard reply recieved only after 3 days with a leaflet that I said I didnt want. Proceeding....
  12. It makes no difference if the account is closed...they still owe you......and they will still pay you.
  13. I am stating the rather obvious.....but...do you not have a copy on a PC?
  14. Have you calculated each charge from date it was charged?.....if you have, you are claiming correctly. She says you are claiming from "date of service"....not sure what this means either, I would ask her to clarify her statement.
  15. Hi Sarah, You have to be very specific as to what you are claiming. Firstly you need to add up all the charges and ensure that you are claiming the re-claimable ones. If you dont have statements you need to request this information (DPA letter) Its all explained in the FAQ section http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/ Good luck
  16. I am currently helping a friend with a claim, who are in an unusual position of being an ex-employee of the very bank they are claiming against. Consequently, they have first hand experience of the minimal amount of work entailed in administering penalty charges. They are awaiting a set aside hearing after being offered all charges within the 6 year period ....but have chosen to hold out for charges within a 7 year period. Could their personal experience create any leverage between now and the final court date? (...and how would this be best communicated?) If it goes to court (for the claim) can a claimant describe her own experiences in support of her own claim. i.e. Can a claimant also be a witness? Any thoughts gratefully received.
  17. Perhaps you should seek clarification from the court as to whether or not you should have an AQ....I would call them ...they are very helpful.
  18. No...I would fill out the AQ (there is a guide in the templates section) post it off & wait. Stand firm....and focus on the fact that banks are not going to court. You will have to pay £100....but this will automatically added to your claim....so you will get it back. Although Cobbetts may 'forget' to add it on, so do your maths and insist it is included as final settlement. In due course you will recieve an offer from Cobbetts...a friend has just been thro all this with Cobbetts who have now offered him full settlement of £2K
  19. Transfer of proceedings is perfectly normal....all online claims are processed at Northampton and then tranfered to your local court. Not sure about your spreadsheet qusetion
  20. Very best of luck....really looking forward to your next post. What is the advantage of requesting an allocation to fast track?
  21. You dont have to let them.....and it may not go that far anyway. I am aware two claims where full settlements were offered prior to set aside hearings. I think threads are just not being updated because some are agreeing to clauses of silence....which is a great shame because banks are paying up in spite of non agreement to silence.
  22. Have seen that exact letter twice and each time Cobbetts offered full settlements the very next day. Although they were slightly dfferent to yourself as default judgement had been passed and set aside hearings had been allocated. The end is indeed drawing close...and so is your full settlement.
  23. I am aware of two friends who received this exact reply from Cobbetts & on the following day received full settlement offers of £2K & £3K. (Although in both cases default judgements were awarded & Cobbetts were facing a set aside hearing) Cobbetts are just trying to worry you.....just be patient....they will pay up.
  24. Its important that you follow the procedure in the step by step guide before you make a claim. Otherwise it would appear you were unreasonable to the court. To save time I would phone and ask exactly when charges were made & how much they were. Then send the very first template.
