  1. Hi I need some advice on where to go next. I bought via barclays finance My dfs sofas were delivered in April 2021. I immediately noticed one of the arm cushions was stitched on incorrectly. Also there were small perforation marks on the leather. Someone came out to look and said if its not that noticeable leave it as just keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse. As it wasn't that noticeable and I loved the sofas I left it. In August 2021 one of the sofas started to creak and was sunken. I complained and it was manufacturers fault the wood was snapped and was repaired free of charge. I also complained that a bit of leather had rubbed off. It was like the top coating or the colour. They were supposed to fix it but noone came. I requested again a couple of months ago. On the 5th September a service manager came to fix the leather. Firstly he said that due to the colour (grey) the colour can lift as its not natural leather. secondly he said he knew he cant repair as the leather colour wouldnt match because of the shade. He proceeded to paint over it anyway which has left two massive blobs of unmatching grey paint on the seat. The store manager rang on 10th September, quite aggressive and intimidating. And by the end of the call she said it was my fault for not using the dfs leather care kit as the leather has become dry and is peeling. Also that the leather looked shiny; i still dont know what she meant by that. After several emails back and forth quoting the CSA and threatening with the ombudsman & emailing head office, they have said they are doing me a favour by offering to replace a seat cover that they ruined with the paint but may not be a perfect colour match. Other than that they cant do anything. The leather is also peeling on the other sofa and a section of colour has rubbed off the side. I am at a loss of what to do next. I would love some advice. Thank you
