  1. So today I went in the bank and asked them if the dispute was closed and did I win.they said yes and yes, still had no contact of Robert Dyas now nearly 5 weeks since I sent the letter requesting them to come and collect so tomorrow I’m putting it out for the scrappers to take thanks for all the help
  2. This is what I sent Order number Description-homcom muti home gym machine with 45 kg weight stack Item received on 9/6/23 1st contact with you on 9/6/23 to report missing parts Auto generated email received saying you would be in touch in 72 hours You made no contact Contacted you via twitter on 12/6/23 Received another auto generated email on 13/6/23 No attempt was made by yourselves to rectify this situation I'm giving you 14 days from receipt of this letter for you to arrange collection of your goods. After this date I will consider this item to have been abandoned and I myself will arrange it's disposal Regards
  3. I’ve already written to them 14 days notice to come and collect the item, that was 4 weeks ago ,the item can’t really be sold as it’s missing 2 specific parts and one part being a large block that holds the weights on and so would be dangerous to use it
  4. The bank said that Robert Dyas have 30 days from the day after I did the dispute as I paid with Visa card, the 30 days is nearly up
  5. No I didn’t get anything..they said if the company challenges it and claws it back they would send a letter,I check a statement every week and so far they haven’t clawed it back
  6. It was a debit card dispute and was raised on 28th June ,the money was returned to my accounts immediately and the bank didn’t advise about returning the item
  7. I first notified them of an issue with the item on 9th June and I sent the letter telling them to come and collect it on 29th June and they received it on 30th June
  8. It’s still here,4 weeks later….what am I to do…it’s 3 large boxes lying up the stairs

  10. ***update*** sent the letter special delivery and it was signed for 2 weeks ago yesterday…can I now dispose of the item ? I’ve had no response in regards to them collecting it but had an email on the 3rd July saying they are looking into the missing parts i did a debit card dispute with the bank on the 27th June and it went in my favour
  11. I reported it via online the same day it was delivered, got an automated reply saying they would be in touch within 3 working days… 5 days later I got them on twitter and they sent another reply saying sorry it’s taking long we will be in touch soon, another 5 days later I got “due to the hot weather our customer services are taking longer than expected “..that was 3 days ago tomorrow I’m going to start the dispute, once I’ve done it I will email them telling them to come and collect it within 5 working days or it’s going to scrap. Does this seem fair and legal ? Thanks
  12. Ok thanks, what time limit would I say it needs to be picked up by (has to be courier as it’s a muti gym) thanks
  13. i will be doing a debit card dispute with my bank this week regarding an item purchased online that has missing parts. the company has been contacted twice regarding this and I’ve only had the “ give us 3 days to respond “. my question is once the dispute is done, what do I do with the item, thanks
  14. Hi hope this is the right forum i have a faulty Samsung tv (purple patches on screen) that was 4 years old when I fist contacted ao.com in January. I’ve been waiting until after lockdown to get an engineers report to confirm that it’s an inherent fault. Unfortunately I can’t get an engineer to do a report (one said because it’s a 65” screen he could do more damage) but did confirm in an email that it’s a common issue that he’s seen many times. AO are still insisting that I get a paper report that is Vat registered ...what can I do? thanks
  15. Yes ,definitely answered my question.thank you so much...
  16. Yes I have it as an email (always keep a paper chain) thanks
  17. Hi I have a Samsung 65inch 4K tv that is just 4 years old with 4 purple patches on the screen. a quick google search tells me it’s a very common fault with Samsung. I bought it from AO.com and I’ve downloaded a template letter which I’ve sent to them as it is less than 6 years old their reply was for me to get an independent engineers report and if it’s an inherent fault they will either contribute to the fix or a depreciated refund heres the problem... due to COVID me and hubby are shielding so can’t have engineers/repair men in, do I have a limited time to get the report (lockdown is lasting till at least March) thanks
