  1. Sent the CCA to Mak Hall with the £1. What should I do now the time frame is well up?
  2. Hi, Wonder if someone could give some advice. Have a loan from the first year loans started. As it's a while ago I can't remember if I deferred, have been told they have a ccj against me (have tried credit check and nothing shows), I've never reached the amount needed to pay back. I sent the CCA letter in June this year had a reply acknowledging the letter saying if SLC didn't come up with CCA then they would send back my file. I'm now being texted almost daily (3 times yesterday 2 on mobile 1 on landline) asking to contact Louise @ MH. As I haven’t received my CCA from the loan I feel they should be writing to me and don't want to spend any of my time or money phoning them. Thanks for any info
  3. Sorry clicked twice
  4. Bronte Country certainly is beautiful, fendy. Almost as beautiful as here in South Yorkshire LOL.
  5. Just noticed some number at the top of my copy statments that I got through phoning and paying another £5. It says Copy Statement (6 numbers/ 6 numbers / 6 numbers), is this a reference that could be used to find out when ordered/printed?
  6. Thanks for the support. Thought the wording might be important saying "statements", as I ask for history of transactions and that they could give statements if easyer, but the ones going back 8 years were statements. So someone is telling porkies. The annoying thing is all this info was in my initial complaint to the ICO.
  7. Help please. I've managed to get statements back as far as 8 years, (only 6 through SAR), NATWEST stopped replying to my letters and have closed my account. I complained to the ICO (what a waste of time and space), just had letter from them say "Natwest has advised me that they do not hold statements for longer than 6 years and therefore are unable to provide you any further statements." When I said I had already been sent more by going a different route, I was asked if I could send proof (covering letter?-no covering letter), she said they could just be old statements (no printed on current statement pages) then if I could send an example they might reopen case, but probably won't get anywhere. Have already sent an LBA - SAR non compliance. Anyone with any experience / advice Cheers
  8. Hi, Sorry have been away from the site for a while (Hols and waiting for ICO). What is the advice now with contractual rate, is anyone winning with it, or is it a waste of time?? Have looked at that thread but just get confused. NatWest stuck to their line that they only had 6 years worth of my statements, even though they'd already sent me around 8 years worth!! They wouldn't reply to my letter advised by ICO to say that they had no more information. Thanks
  9. Any comments ideas??!! Missed todays post!!! Thanks
  10. Just fed up now. I've managed to get statements on my business account back to Jan 1998 but seem to have hit a brick wall trying to get further. With my umteenth call was told sorry but Nat West can only go back 7 years, she was lost for words when I pointed out that I'd already received over 8 years. Decided to contact the ICO as I'd only received 6 years worth of statements under the SAR, was advised to write and ask for info again and if NW unable to supply ask why not. Below is the letter, any comments? Might I get somewhere or is this the end with this one? Re. Data Protection Act 1998 Subject Access Request of 23rd August 2006 Dear Mr Lyons, ACCOUNT NUMBER: xxxxxxT CODE xxxxxxxx I hope you can help me. I wrote in my letter to you of the 23rd of August 2006:- “Please supply me with a complete list of transactions and charges relating to my banking history with your organisation. Alternatively, a complete set of statements for that period will be acceptable.” I received statements from Aug 2000 to July 2006, I expected the full history of my account not just 6 years worth. After visiting my branch, having made numerous phone calls and receiving conflicting answers I am left rather confused as to what information Nat West hold. Initially I was told that my business account manager said that I could not get any further information, I’ve been told yes it is possible (and have received some more statements) concluding today when I was told by a returned call to say that Nat West can only go back to 7 years and she seemed lost for words when I replied that I had already received over 8 years worth. After the call today I contacted the Information Commissioners Office regarding this matter and was advised to write this letter requesting the information (a complete list of transactions and charges relating to my banking history with your organisation) again and if this was not forthcoming to ask you to give a reason why not. The 40 days for you to comply with the S.A.R. ran out at the beginning of October and I have been advised by the I.C.O. to contact them if this letter is not heeded. I look forward to your response. Don't know what else to do now, think I'll wait or should I just start the last 6 years with contractual rate??
  11. He does live at Nat West head office doesn't he.!!??
  12. Think I'll have to write him a letter with a nice long list!!!
  13. Just waiting now hoping that the statements will arrive. Feel abit excited, like waiting for Father Christmas to come.
  14. Check the % you've input. Loads of times i've type in 29.50 and it's ignored the decimal point, just had to go back and reinsert DP, and yes I did have a laugh when I saw the millions clock up, and thinking how many lots of £5000 that would take!!!
  15. Yes!!! Just phoned Customer Services department on 0845 6052605 (got the number from another thread) a very nice man said could order up to 7 years then with me mentioning that I was sure he could order older he said there was something that said ordering statements over 7 years old. He went off for a while then said yes ok and if I find the details for my other account I would need to call again and tell the Operator what statements I required and to fax that info through to Leeds CS on 0845 301 2462. Hopefully I now have statements from 1992-2000 on there way. Well we'll see. Cheers to the very nice man!!!
