  1. who could say- probably not applied any where. called salans and someone is going to investigate and call back
  2. have just found out that the refund of charges was never applied to the outstanding balance. so forget our interest only talks- waiting for salans to call back. Expect my husbands claim against time (ge) is the same.
  3. Well done- excellent news. all that hard work definately paid off
  4. i havent done anything about this yet- i am finding it confusing to say the least. This debt was my husbands comet time card- that had a outstanding balance and was linked by an administartion order. Last week the court informed me tht the admin order has been settled- however the balance on my husbands experien report for this debt does not reflect that (am advised the court can take up to 1 month to catch up and let the creditors know this information.) also there is the matter of the refund of charges that i declined and they were suposed to have applied anyway- the figures do not seem to reflect any refund. this is before i have thought about their Tomlin order, strict confidentiality clause and what they have said they will pay. think i need to contact the creditor to find out details of any credits to the outstanding balance then will post again. forgive my ramblings anyone reading!
  5. am having problems with my reply- anyone got any ideas? this other one is very similar http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/store-cards/29160-sarah-ge-money.html
  6. just thought i'd bring in to the top of the new posts page as not many people were online when i wrote this- any ideas?
  7. Got this today: --------------------------------------------------------- Sarah GE Money calculates interest charged on the default fees applied to your husband's account as being £433.87. Accordingly, if your husband accepts GE Money's proposal (as detailed below and subsequently explained by telephone by my colleague Kevin Heath), GE Money will credit his account with £433.87. If your husband wishes to accept GE Money's proposal, please ensure that he signs and returns the Tomlin order that was attached to my email to you of 3 May. --------------------------------------- Got something similar on my claim against ge. My problem with this is my husbands is account is settled. I paid his admin order all at the beginning of the week. so they wont be retaining anything!!! going to write back, have started something but will resume in morning its getting a little late. just wanted to update anyone following my lengthy story!!!
  8. Hi everyone following my story- got this today via email ---------------------------------------------------------------- GE Money is prepared to accept your calculation of interest on default charges as being £474.96. Accordingly, if you accept GE Money's proposal (as detailed below and subsequently explained by telephone by my colleague Kevin Heath), GE Money will credit your accounts with £474.96 (to be split proportionately between your Topshop and Debenhams accounts). If you wish to accept GE Money's proposal, please sign and return the Tomlin order that was attached to my email to you of 3 May. --------------------------------------------------------- firstly its not enough as the interest has risen obviously, I have started to prepare a letter to them --------------------------------------------------------- I have spoken with the Lewis Group who now hold details of the outstanding debt. They say the Topshop debt stands at £86.75 and the Debenhams debt at £790.01 You have offered to pay £474.96 split between the two. As of today’s date the interest calculations are as follows: Topshop £236.97, Debenhams £281.44 total £518.41. There is also the £10 S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) request fee and fee for the many letters I have written to consider, not to mention the many missing statements ( TOPSHOP still missing from August 2000 – September 2001, August 2003 then from November 2003 to present) (DEBENHAMS still missing from August 2000 to august 2001, then from August 20003 to present) ----------------------------------------- basically i want to get as much as i can out of them as they have out of me all these years. They keep saying they cant produce the missing statements thrown up all kinds of excuses even obscure ones like anti money laundering acts etc but i firmly believe the courts would make them produce the information or compensate me for not being able to produce it. lots of the statements missing have charges on them. Also both these debts encurred me ccjs now joined in a administration order which has caused me endless worry and yet more financial hardship. Any ideas on how to word it?

  19. hi steven, sorry for not replying earlier, i calculated interest at 31.99% as they charged me. posted on other thread that i have contacted them and a suitable agreement may be reached- he is going to come back to me next week with definate figures. also causing probs is the fact that both of these debts are included on an admin order that the solicitor has no knowledge of. so in his mind we have not been making payments towards these debts yet we have thru the court every month. Whilst i wait for him to come back to me I shall contact the court to find what the balances stand at-- watch this space sarah:)
