  1. a friend has received letter stating PPI will be refunded if they sign new loan agreement... they have loan and it has arrears... do they need to sign new agreement or can they insist on refund and continue with current loan with PPI removed even though they are in arrears.... what are barclays allowed to do in this circumstance????
  2. make sure you dont use more than £4 though as it will cost you dear!!!!
  3. I really do like this one I have already sent govan letters and had same replies as previously stated.... I will be watching very closely indeed.... I really hope it works and charges are refunded without challenge back to when accounts were actually open and all future charges become unlawful..... But call me a pessimist what are the chances bearing everything that has already happened,,,,, I will be happy to eat my hat if they prove to be successful......
  4. where is it? are you up to date with the HOL thread? utccr etc
  5. patience may be a virtue but as the stay is lifted , millions of pounds are falling off the 6 year rule.... each month the banks save millions ...
  6. hi chubs what letters are you writing waiting for court date..... yours could be a test case , havent heard of any bank charge test cases since ruling.... what is the plan, are you in financial hardship due to charges etc etc
  7. I am extremely bitter at the amount of time wasted discussing this conspiracy.... direct action is needed I feel not further discussion.... they lost 2 cases, supreme overruled then supreme say will not solve all cases and another legal route should be taken... the oft stop and millions are lft in limbo... try and convince me this is not a conspiracy.... we are being taken for a ride and only concerted direct action will do anything to change the MP position on this disgrace...
  8. yes but what happens to the creditor if they breach the oft guidance???? nowt

  13. jdes26 revolution , I am in and I can get 30 others ready for march on number 10...
  14. Hi landy/kenny, I had that letter landy had and just a week later got the sod off letter... 4 different banks , not all for myself but thay all said pretty much identical stuff..... These letters have been prepared in anticipation of the govan letters I can assure you... They are to similar not to be pre organised.... There is no hope of getting money back they have the bat needed to smash claims back... supreme court ruling.... we are all losing sight of right and wrong.... read an earlier post I copied from bob bankbuster... sets it all out very clearly... this is a set up and we are able to do nothing there are 1800 daily guests on here and just 300 caggers they now what everybodys next move is and have already prepared response.... I would suggest a little more direct action be discussed..... ie stop paying unsecured debt, clear out savings and cause a run on a bank and a mass protest at how we are having teh wool pulled over our eyes.... supreme court stated decision would not solve myriad of cases, however it clearly has.... you will see when you get response letter in a week or two????
  15. 300 caggers 1800 guests.... they know our next move WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF EVERYBODY IN THE UK OR AT LEAST A VERY LARGE PORTION STOPPED PAYING UNSECURED DEBTS???? CREDIT CARDS, UNSECURED LOANS , STORE CARDS ETC??????
  16. even with amended POC's what are you expecting????? I have sent 4 Govan letters and had the near same response from all 3 banks... They already knew about the amended letters and have collectively battled against it... New POC's aint going to win this fight... hence the reason they have taken so long , even Martin Lewis is distancing himself from them....
  17. no posts for 3 days, I take it the fight is over....... what a pity , if britain has lost its great it is because we have all allowed it.... dont blame anyone else but ourselves!!!

The company name throughout the announcement should read 'Cattles plc' and not 'Moscow plc' as previously stated. All other details remain unchanged. The full announcement appears below. Cattles plc Potential Staff Reductions at Welcome Financial Services The Board of Cattles plc ("Cattles") today announces proposed changes in the organisation of its subsidiary Welcome Financial Services Limited. The Board of Cattles announced recently that, following an extensive strategic review of its business and subsequent discussions with its financial creditors, it was unable to recommend a business plan which would allow Welcome Finance ("Welcome") to continue lending and it would therefore focus on collecting out Welcome's existing customer loans. It is envisaged that this process could take two to three years and, during that period, the Group's cost base will contract to reflect the reducing size of the book. As part of an ongoing comprehensive review of the Welcome business, Cattles has announced today that it proposes the closure of circa 70 Local Management Branches and Local Collections Units nationwide. Cattles will now enter into a consultation process with staff affected by the proposals, of whom approximately 450 will today receive notice that they are at risk of redundancy. Commenting on the plans, Margaret Young, Executive Chairman of Cattles, said: "These proposals to further streamline the Welcome organisational structure have been put forward after an extensive review and careful consideration. We believe they are essential to Cattles achieving a more cost efficient business model which mirrors the reducing size of the Group's loan book."
