well, just to recap, we have now settled the case, for everything exc the CCI. We could have had the dosh on July 20th, if we had accepted there offer, but in the end, we were going to be appeaing in court to argue for the CCI only, and in the end we decided against it. Feel abit disappointed but thats life.............. Never the less, it proves you can claim in england, without an english address ;-) Good luck to everyone else.......................

I tried everything possible, apart from appear in court. I sent them a letter last week, detailing a list of cases in which they had settled including CCI, all of which involved open accounts. I received a letter back on saturday morning, claiming all cases are assesed on on individual basis, and they were prepared to settle with everything apart from CCI, so basically we would have been appearing in court claiming the CCI only. I didnt fancy a 569 mile round trip to argue that one. I want to thank everyone for the help i received, in particular UKA for his help with my POC Its another notch to add to my Sig i suppose

Settled today for charges + interest + 8%stat + court fee. Not happy at missing out on the CCI, but dont fancy a trip from glasgow to nottingham for CCI alone. It is fair to say, they are still paying CCI if the account is open, but NOt paying if the account is closed.
