What is the best source of action? Appeal to them? If they reject it then take it to POPLA? What should I state in the appeal? Thank you. -

Yes Silverfox. It wasn't a windscreen ticket. Actually I had a long argument with the warden I told him I was in the car...but he just said I will have to appeal it. -

Hi everyone, I got a PCN from Horizon parking. I entered Iceland and I was in the car, out of nowhere the warden sneaked and took a picture. Now I got the reminder notice, I require some help how and on what grounds to appeal to Horizon. Thank you everyone.

Ok...looked at the account today. They charged me £1.79 the correct amount. But the same day they charged me £1.04 - the wrong amount. So they have overcharged me now lol.

Doesn't matter anyway. It might be there was some discount etc, or i might be sleeping whilst checking out so didn't notice the exact price. Just thought I'll discuss it.
-
Lol. I don't know what happened man. It might be my mind playing up or something. They might take it in another transaction, no idea. What's the best source of action here fellas?

Hi, Just a quick query. I bought a drink and a chocolate bar yesterday from tesco. Total was about £1.95. I paid via contactless card. However looking at my bank account right now, I see they have taken £1.04? I don't have the receipt as I threw it away. Any ideas? Thank you.

Another....result. Email from Wonga: We’re pleased we’ve managed to come to a resolution through the ombudsman service. I can confirm that we have received your payment instructions and are in the process of completing your settlement, amount of £265.27 to bank account , ending .... Please allow up to five working days for receipt of payment. Compensatory interest is subject to income tax at the basic rate under UK tax legislation and, therefore, tax will be deducted at the basic rate of 20% from any payments made to you. If you do not pay tax, you may be able to reclaim some or all of this tax reduction from HM Revenue and Customs. If you are a higher rate tax payer, you may have to pay additional tax on the compensatory interest via your tax return. Please see HMRC.gov.uk for more details. Please see attached file for a breakdown of your settlement. We have also sent a request to amend your credit record to remove the applicable loans from your file. Please get in touch if you have any queries. Kind regards

Do I stand a chance of a refund? :(
FootballPlayer replied to 5 years of PDLs :('s topic in Wonga and associated companies
Hi It looks to me you have a case here. You need to get a full statement of account from Wonga(email them asking for it). Once you get it, provide a summary of your loans in here. I am sure someone with more knowledge will be able to assist you then. Feel free to browse my thread, it might be helpful to you. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?458318-Payday-loans...getting-out-of-this-mess -
Uncle Bucks/1st Stop Recoveries Claim
FootballPlayer replied to coledog's topic in Financial Legal Issues
Did you communicate any financial problems to the original creditor and make any attempt to enter into a debt managementicon plan? Yes, the response was to repay and they would relend on the next day. Wow...so they told you to repay and that once repaid they will relend you another amount immediately??? Despite you telling them about your financial difficulties.- 6 replies

Quick update: Handset successfully sent and received. Got a confirmation call that account has been closed and the final balance is waived away. In addition £177 compensation agreed that will reach my account in 14 days time. And wrong default to be removed. Thank you CAG. -
Good Morning. Just checked my credit file. All the payday loans have been closed except peachy and payday uk. Payday uk shows as UC for two months. Peachy will be closed once the remaining £85 is settled. Barclays partner finance has been ammended and all shows as upto date. Got a letter from payday uk last week sometime stating they have 8 weeks to reply etc. Hopefully i will get a response from FOS this week regarding Wonga.

Unclear here, what do you mean? It would be better to share the information here as it is an open forum. It gives people who helped you out and other people in the same situation to see the final conclusion etc.
