  1. Yes, I tried that, but my card supplier said too much time had passed by. It was a couple of months when Xmas intervened and the vendor sent me more DVDs to try. I could, in theory, make a claim on the SCC, but for this amount of money I feel it is hardly worth the hassle. I guess a lot of small on-loine traders are likely to rely on people like me. Next time, if something doesn't work first time, then back it goes like connected by elastic!
  2. I wonder if anyone else here has had occasion to buy BMW navigation DVDs online from naviupdates.co.uk? His site advertises with '100% satisfaction or your money back'. However, reality is that if the product doesn't work, it is your fault and no refund is available. Since the sums are relatively small, £29.99 in my case, it slips under the cover offered by the Credit card issuer. I have to be fair: the vendor sent three different DVDs before I finally asked for a refund. I would be very interested in any suggestions of how I could get satisfaction?
