I bought a faulty turbo online with a credit card, they said I'd broken it and wouldn't give me my money back. I contacted the card co and they refunded the money. I would have thought you could have a claim against the breakdown company? has it bent the valves , you should be able to tell as the engine will crank faster than normal -

the lambda sensor is in the exhaust along with the cat, so possibly related fault. If the cambelt has broken the engine will be beyond economical repair -

I've got a fleet insurance, the vehicles are kept at a variety of addresses, the insurance company have never even asked where the vehicles are kept -
