  1. Also, time to time is not 16 weeks in my opinion. That's 4 months. Hardly time to time.
  2. Thanks. I'm unable to stay over due to (confidential) personal obligations. These can be met without issue at my normal site but not 200 miles away.
  3. I was with Kensington for two years when I had previous financial problems and nobody else would touch me. Nothing wrong with them. I paid on time each month and I had no issues with them whatsoever. Yes, it was a high rate but it was them or nothing - so I went with them. They were a bit stubborn on payment methods though. I don't use Direct Debit for large (over £100) payments as I don't trust companies not to call wrong, instead I paid via Standing Order (automated set up through internet bank console) and even though at first they were resistant they were fine in the end. Kensington will overlook bits and bobs in terms of bad debts etc as that is their area obviously.
  4. Short and sweet this one... I get Equifax credit file alerts (by the way if you don't have these...sign up for the free 30 day trial with Equifax...cancel it day 27/28 to avoid being charged £10 per month...Equifax will the persuade you to stay with them and drop it from £10 per month to £3 per month - bargain!) and one popped up recently from O2. O2 - Mobile phone account - Query Outstanding What the heck is a Query Outstanding? The account is in fine form, no payments late etc. It's not a default or Arrangement to Pay...so what is it? I'll be writing to O2 tomorrow to have it removed, naturally, but I'm intrigued! Thanks
  5. Thanks Fletch. These do all seem standard silly letters. Combined with the fact that the T&C's look like they are NOT the ones supplied at the time, should I tell Horwich Farrelly to get lost or should I seek a full set of documents including statements to see penalties, charges etc? SM
  6. Problem is all applications you make have address and phone number on them - all reported back to CRA's - all available if DCA's go digging around. And they do. You say you PRESUME Link bought from MBNA? Have you got evidence? Have you sent SAR - what did it say? Don't panic - debt isn't a crime. These idiots prey on frightening people.
  7. mail@linkfinancial.co.uk (Make a new gmail or hotmail address first before emailing them and DON'T use your personal email address - they will hassle you on it) Link Financial Outsourcing, PO Box 30095, London, SE1 7WU
  8. Dealt with these idiots a few years back. I wrote to them and told them to ensure all correspondence was in writing and NOT phone. I'm sure someone with more experience on bankruptcy etc - but have you sent the request to see your docs from them? CCA? SAR?
  9. Hi. Images are attached to this post as I had to PDF them up (sorry DX - they are seperate PDFs as I couldn't merge at work). Let me know what you think. Thanks
  10. They just seem like letters with no substance. I've yet to see a reliable statement where they list all the charges they will no doubt have added on to the account anyway. Will edit images, then upload again. Thanks DX
  11. Bugger, forgot about barcodes. Ive edited original post to remove them and will upload again.
  12. Hi DX, Attached to this are a few of the letters from LS / RW / HF that I have immediately to hand. I'll be digging more out tomorrow night, these are the most recent, past three months. I've redacted all forms of ID from the letter as RW will no doubt be on here - the balance obscured is just over £8000. Let me know if you have any thoughts whilst I get the other letters. No reduction letter in here, just fluff. The previous address letter is interesting...in so much that there is no previous address listed! SM
  13. I've certainly had the fluffy 'Where have we gone wrong?' letter that pertains to give a damn about settling the debt, I remember as it made me laugh! I've got a whole load of different letters, some nice, some not so nice, most full of spelling mistakes. Will upload.
  14. I think so (I've had a few letters!). I've had all kinds of letters - will post them this evening
  15. Ok. Will scan up all chain letters received tomorrow. Chased by... RW from 2008 to 2013. then suddenly Horwich Farrelly popped up this year, late Jan. nobody else. Thanks dx
  16. I've got a statement dated last week allegedly from LS - but aren't they in admin?! What proof of home sig can I get? A witness? I lived at home so parents were there? What do you mean removed this for various reasons? I'm confused?
  17. Correct, docs signed at home. NOT on trade premises. Not sure how that is proved though...
  18. Correct, I'm doubting the terms. I think they are false and the cca implies there are clauses overleaf. Surely that can't be correct as all the terms and clauses should be signed? I am suspicious the terms have, somewhere along the line, been swapped.
  19. m Don't know! £483 over the course of the agreement by the looks. Didn't ask for gap insurance but I seem to have got it.
  20. ok dx - image below. CCA again with personal info redacted and all figures left intact. Thanks again. SM
  21. Ok - will upload tonight. Is it safe posting figures etc? Not sure who lurks around here in terms of dca's and until I get proper documentation I'm acknowledging no liability!
  22. Last payment on my bank statement is mid-2008, same as what RW say. SB when only 4.5 years since last payment? Not even showing on CRA? Does that figure?
  23. Hi guys, Thanks for the replies, very much appreciated Dx - lots of questions, I'll answer them all. I'll also rescan the docs if need be, I removed the details in case any DCA's lurk on here. Loan was 2005 for car purchase. Initial company was London and Scottish. £10k loan plus £5k charges, and £9k has been paid back over the three years. Three years in I was very ill and had to cease working so had reduced income (no income protection back then, I've learned now though!). The debt was passed to Robinson Way who hassled for a bit, then went away. Then they came back in 2010, I asked for CCA, nothing came, they went away. Then they came back recently and that's where this cca came from. There's nothing - at all - on my CRA files. Checked all three, nothing at all. No default, not even a trace of the loan. ever. loan started in 2005, last paid mid 2008, defaulted 2009 according to RW. nothing on my cra shows that but i dont want a default or worse turning up now! I'm only going through this now as Robinson Way are sending letters and being a pest. Does that help for now? I'll scan again with the figures in tonight. How do the documents look to you? SM
