  1. Toothfairy site is up and running. I have just received a text from DMR Connect stating that if I repay the amount I borrowed by end of February they will close the file. Options for payment were call them direct or visit Tooth Fairy web site. I decided to try the website and you can log in, it clearly shows the amount of charges they have deducted from when they went bust, the amount you have paid and the balance still owing. My balance shows 436 to pay but I only borrowed 300.00, I have already paid 263.00 so am I right in assuming that I only pay 27.00 to close the file? Your page on the webiste also shows your bank card details which apparently they do not keep, just as well mine is showing a defunct card
  2. Hi EdmundD, they answered the phone as DMR, number was 0203 476 4029
  3. The plot thickens. I received 2 emails today from DHR, 1 of which asked me to log into the Toothfairy Website to pay my loan, I did log in but did not get very far, the 2nd email asked me to ring DHR which I did and the phone was answered as DHR. I questioned them about the emails and I was told to just ignore the Toothfairy one as I would still be receiving lots of these emails, in fact, I have received no emails from NDR, MHB or Toothfairy since last year. I asked if they were the same Company and I was told no. Anyway, the woman I spoke to was very polite I said I would set up a new repayment plan, original loan was 300.00, I have paid 263.00 so 486 left to pay, no discount was offered on this amount but she did say that they had taken all the charges and interest off that NDR had added on which was about 3000.00. SHe asked for my card details which I refused to give her and reluctantly after she kept me on hold for 15 minutes she gave me their bank details which are the same as Toothfairy. She did try and tell me that they did not hold by debit card details so I would be quite safe in paying that way, I should cocoa. I am very unsure if I want to make these payments as there is something not quite right. Any advice would be good please
  4. Hi, sorry but I need a little more help. I took the advice and paid my Council via their online payment facility in December then I emailed their offices and told them that I would not be paying Rossedales anymore but would pay the Council direct as was my right to do so. I told them that they should inform Rossedales of this. I have come home today to find that Rossendales muppet has been again and dropped some more papers through my door as in a Notice of Distress to sieze my goods for the amount owing, 4 Bank Giro credits payable to Rossedales and a request to Pay by Installment Form. Where do I go from here? Rossendales have also added 24.50 for the first visit and 18.00 for today. I seem to recall I read somewhere that they cannot even charge me this as I was not in on both occassions
  5. Thanks again PT. I spoke to the muppet from Rossedales today and he confirmed that I had broke my agreement. He wanted to call at my house again to set an arrangment up but obviously did not like the times that I go to work or get home from work. He is now going to drop some forms off for me to sign for a new arrangement next time he is in the area which I apparently send back to Rossendales asap but of course there is yet another charge for that, how much, I do not know.
  6. Thanks PT. If I pay the council direct, will the muppets from Rossendales keep turning up at my house and adding extra monies? Do I inform Rossedales that I am no longer going to pay them? WD
  7. Thanks for the info. It just seems wrong that they have gone to this extreme for the sake of 3 days. What happens when I send them the letter do they have to leave me alone. Can I refuse to pay them and pay the council instead or will the coucil refuse my payment. The only car in my drive is registered to my son, so I guess they cannot use that and it is still under finance. THere is no way that I would let them in anyway, I will take my rather large German Shepherd to the door with me, he don't like strangers lol.
  8. I need a little advice please. My council sent my council tax bill to Rossendales. I received no notification from the council that this had been to court, first I knew was a letter from Rossendales saying they were coming to my house to do the walkthrough (or whatever it is called) but I could arrange a repayment plan with them, so I completed the paperwork sent it off and Rossendales refused 91.00 per month which was my normal monthly payment. I rang the council and she informed me that Rossendales wanted 126.00 a month, I agreed to pay this and got the paperwork from Rossendales detailing my payment plan. Unfortunately, I was late paying my November payment, it should have been the 28th and I actually paid it on 3rd December. I have come home tonight and there has been a letter shoved through my letter box from Rossendales Notice of Bailiffs Attendance for Council Tax. They are intending to seize my property for 506.00 plus costs, what costs?? It also states that if I cannot afford to pay this amount in full then it is not too late to pay by instalments if I pay an initial charge of 50.00. There was a contact number on this letter which I was told I would need to contact this guy on immediately, which I did but there was no response. Can they charge me 50.00, can they just expect to take my property when they have not even done the walkthrough
  9. Hi Angie, In this forum there is a page which states that your bank have to obey your wishes about CPA off your debit card, they cannot refuse to do it, search this area of the forum carefully and you will find it posted several times, sorry but I cannot remember where it is. You will have to be careful about applying for credit on line as some PDL's can get your card details through a third party, one company springs to mind and that is CFO who raided my Bank but I got my money back as a gesture of goodwill from my Bank because of the way that the Bank had treated my complaint. I am paying my PDL's myself and I will not pay them anymore than initial loan plus one months interest, again there is information on this forum about that also. It has something to do about the interest these PDL's charge for a short term loan. 1st Stop only sent me a summons so I had no trouble with them, filled the summons in on line, offered the initial loan plus one months interest and the Court agreed with me. Good luck Whoopie
  10. Hi Angie 090465 When I stopped my debt management plan no payday lender had accepted the proposals and I was just fed up with paying my DMP company 30.00 a month. I contacted all my lenders and offered the same as they were getting on the DMP which they accepted. 1st Stop ever replied and they eventually sent a summons which I challenged and offered initial loan plus one months interest. 1st Stop did not accept this so the Court agreed what I offered so I came out just over £100.00 better off. If you have had summons issued, your DMP will help you with that but I do not think that the COurt will make you pay anymore than what you have arranged with your DMP. You really need to be tough with these PDL's and stand your ground. I know it's a horrible position to be in but it will get better
  11. Is it worth my while trying to get the excessive charges back from CFO, they amount to £250-300?
  12. Had a phone call from one of Santanders CEO's army today and as a gesture of goodwill they are refunding my money, she promised it would be there by close of business today and it is. She was totally disgusted at the treatment that I have received and my complaint has been escalated as high as it can go. Just have to wait and see if they do the claim back now. Very satisfied at the moment, I just wonder how many people accept all Banks wrong doings
  13. result .. got 102.00 knocked off Ist Stop's figures. They objected to my offer so the court decided. I said I would pay this by 7th November and the judgement says I must pay it by this date and the judgement is dated 15th October and I received it today but it is postmarked 31st October so do I need to pay by 7th November or do I get 28 days from this date or the 15th October, either way they have not left me much time to get 1st Stops bank details so I can pay. Any advice would be gratefully accepted as always
  14. I have now reported Santander and CFO to the FSA
