Does anyone know the current address for an ebay uk head office? I sent something recorded delivery to the address below and it was returned by the post office as "addressee gone away" Thanks Susan

I've already said I learned my lesson, though having worked in an industry I know there is very little mail that actually genuinely goes astray. I don't want any advice - I just want to know how long people would wait before chasing up an item they were expecting in the post.

As I had a general question I thought Community forum - but there is no "post thread button" so I tried subscribing to the forum - but they are taking no more subscribers, so I watched the YouTube video which said start at the very beginning, and then I looped around again. Anyway - I've posted it now via the welcome forum. Somewhat ironic though that a consumer action group web site is so difficult to navigate!

I sold an item on Ebay. It was bought on 6th June and I sent it out 7th June. My Ebay account says that I will post goods within 2 working days. A month later, I had an email from the person who bought the item asking when I was going to post it. Yes - you've guessed it, he claims he never received it, and I sent it with a proof of posting and not by a tracker means. Ebay are being their characteristically unhelpful selves. When I responded to the buyer that I sent it the next day with proof of posting - it took hm a further 10 days to reply saying he still hadn't received it. I'm convinced this chap is a [problem]mer and liar, and Ebay will probably come down in his favour because he is the buyer and I didn't send the item using a tracking service. OK - so lessons learned by me about posting methods which means I'll add a slug of money to my postage costs However, the question I'm asking is of the forum is, if you order something online and it says it will be sent within 2 working days, how long do you wait before you chase it up? I'm trying to prove to Ebay that no normal person after buying an item that cost £170 would wait a month before asking if it had been sent. Many thanks Susan

Trying to post my first thread. The into says use welcome page first - so I type out a thread. A message then appears saying don't ask questions on this page. So I search for somewhere else to leave a new thread - and I can't find anywhere! No buttons to click, no instructions to follow. So I'll just go back to the beginning and post where I'm not supposed to because there are no arrows to guide me anywhere else!
