  1. When I have tried to speak to Close they put me straight through to Bluestone Credit Management who they describe to me as their "legal department". I have been in contact with one of their paralegals who while accepting the bank statement which shows the money being taken out, is now requesting the next 10 days on my statement to show that it hasn't been put back in. Considering they are the ones that have made the error I am furious that I am having to jump through hoops to clear my name. I had asked the paralegal who raised the CCJ if it was them or Close Brothers who raised the CCJ without telling me. They said it was them on request of Close. They have said that they sent it to my old address as they didn't have my new address. This is rubbish as I was sent letters to my new address by Close brothers requetsing the payment in the first place. Although Bluestone have said they have put HCEO on hold I find it difficult to believe anything they say, especially considering I have spoken to Marstons to confirm the hold action and was told, "there is no mention of this on our notes" There is no way a Bailiff will be let in to my house but the concern is that if we have people over who park on our drive. I know they can prove ownership but the way these thugs operate. . .

In Essex, Job Centre offices have made people on the work programme sign a new JSAG increasing the number of applications they must make to 5 a week. they have been very strict so far and sanctioning people who don't comply. Saying that there are not any jobs to apply for is no longer an excuse they are willing to accept

Welfare to work providers DO NOT sanction anyway. If someone fails to complete a mandatory task or fails to attend a mandatory appointment, which has to be given in writing, the provider has to inform the JCP decision makers and provide evidence that the notice was sent. The decision maker then decides whether or not to impose the sanction.
  4. When I went to sell my property a year ago I had to pay for a HIP which was financed through Close Brothers. The £623.85 was paid by direct debit on the 1st July 2011. Last Friday, over a year later, I had a hand delivered letter from Marstons HCEO stating that they were there to collect on their behalf £623.85 plus their costs (which added together came to over an additional £650) totalling over £1250. When I called to queery this I was advised that a CCJ had been put against me and I hadn't made any attempt to pay .When I contacted Close brothers they put me through to their "legal dept" Bluestones CM. I have sent them a copy of my bank statement which proves that the payment had been made but they have yet to respond despite calling and emailing them for updates. My primary concern is their incompetence at not acknowledging a payment that had been made Secondly they have raised a CCJ without contacting me or making me aware of how to pay. I am sure this will have an effect on my credit rating. Thirdly, I am now receiving threatening letters from their HCEO for a debt that had been paid when requested. My wife is at home alone with our young children during the day and we are concerned about the children playing in the garden in case these people come back. I will be complaining to them directly and the FOS once this has been resolved but I am not sure how to go about this. Any help would be gratefully received
