Engines First LTD (NORFOLK) I need help i am having problem with this company after googling found out this is dissolved company and still trading on 1stchoice.co.uk with five star rating. I ordered my corsa diesel engine on Monday morning the guy said engine will be with me by Wednesday or Thursday and ask my email for sending invoice but after numerous calls still not received any email. On Tuesday i rang them again to ask if they dispatch the engine yet or not but the guy put me on hold then said he will ring me back in 10mins waited an hour but no call the same thing they were telling me about sending invoice, whenever i ring them they say ok we going to send you but no sign of any invoice or email. After an hour i rang back and been told that engine not available anymore ok i asked cancel this transaction he said ok i issue refund now. After an hour i rang bank and ask if he actually issued refund or not, bank told me he cant issue refund because money still not cleared all he can do is cancel the transaction and money will go back to your account. I rang him again and this time he was bit rude and said why you keep ringing us we issued refund and you will get money back to your card. Today Wednesday i checked my bank and money left my account completely and the company name appears as 'The Engine Company Norwich'. Rang card company and been told nothing has been requested from the seller so seller not issued any refund at all as he said yesterday. Can anybody give some advice on this. Thank you

It's a diesel so i don't think it has coil pack. I told them about weird noise coming from engine. They checked everything like turbo egr and also performed compression test. Snapped timing chain means the whole engine gone due to bent valves etc. -
Hi guys my car been to Vauxhall dealer for diagnose as my car corsa 1.3 cdti 2007 misfiring on low revs. Vauxhall kept the car for three days and finally they told me that number 3 fuel injector is misfiring and no other fault reported. Got the car back on 28/04/2015 and today 3-/04/2015 my timing chain snapped while driving the recovery guy confirmed that timing chain gone and it damaged all cams etc. Can anybody confirm what are my right and what can i claim like repairs or money back. I paid £75 for diagnose and they could not find out if my timing chain is going. Thank you

Hi guys, I need some help, last year in July I was put in support groups due to PTSD and severe depression, in October i went abroad (no EU) country to see my parents and getting some counselling from them as i was going through very bad patch of my life. I stayed there for 4 months but did not tell DWP, while i was abroad i also awarded DLA lower mobility for one year which i claimed earlier. This year in January i received ESA formal review letter from DWP to see if anything has changed in my circumstances, i filled the form but i did not mention that i went abroad for 4 months. In May i have received DLA renewal form so i filled it and mention that i was abroad for four months. Today i have received letter from DLA saying that they overpaid me as i was abroad and i failed to inform them on right time. Can anybody shed a light that how long anybody can go abroad non EU country for both ESA and DLA. I am on contribution based ESA. I am also worried about ESA as well i did not tell them. Thanks

Hi I need help, i am on contribution based ESA (WRAG) my partner recently started part time voluntary work. I rang job center and they said they will send new form for change of circumstances and my current claim will be suspended. I am worried and confused that there may be new medical assessment. Can anybody confirm if there will be new medical assessment again also my work related activity appointment coming as well so do i have to attend the appointment also after change of circumstances. Thanks

Thanks guys for your prompt advice so i think i should not worry about this now. Just one more question, as i recently diagnose with Asperger and i am on lower mobility rate which i think little unfair as i need more care than mobility if inform DLA is there any better chance to get care component. Thanks

My condition is same no improvement just diagnosed Asperger syndrome so thought if i dont tell DWP may be its crime.

Hi i am on ESA Support Group since July last year due to PTSD, severe depression and anxiety and getting DLA low rate mobility and now diagnosed with autism Asperger syndrome too. I just wanted to know is this still comes under change of circumstances as all my other conditions remain the same and if i tell DWP, will my ESA stop and will there be a new claim again. I am little bit worried about this. Thanks

Seems like they are newbies every time you ring them they tell you different story and make you more upset. I was trying to search on google to see anybody got the same issue but found nothing and i feel like that i am the one who become the victim of their new joke. I am already going through bad depression and anxiety now these people giving more headache

I have not received any thing i spoke to jobcentre and asked them it should not effect my payments as payments start first then we have 4 weeks to send ESA50 back but she insist that its not like that and they need my ESA50 filled form back then they can process my claim. I will ring again tomorrow and ask for call back from DM

Hi thanks for your reply, yes its my first claim as i never claimed ESA or any disability benefit before, first they said they have not received my sick note, now they say it does not matter if we receive sick note or not, we need your ESA50 form back then we can pay you assessment rate

Hi guys I need some help, i applied for esa on 8th April as i am going through bad anxiety and PTSD. After few days they sent my statement back and ask for doctor's note which i sent on 18th April. On 19th i got sms from Jobcentre that they have all information and they will contact me with the decision. I also received the letter from Jobcentre saying that i am pleased to you that we can pay esa form 8th April you will get £84 a week etc. I rang Jobcentre on 25th April and i was surprised when they said they have not received my sick note and i need to ring on Monday to find out. I rang today and got another surprise when they said you need to send the ESA50 form back then we can release the payment. Can anybody tell me if this is true i am totally confused and upset as i cant fill this ESA50 as its too difficult. I made an appointment with local cab but the date is too far and i dont know what to do. Thanks

Contract Manager not giving SSP1 form

Hi Gbarbm I already done that i sent an email with attached link and attached SSP1 to my contract manager and requested read receipt which she acknowledged. My main concern is that i am running out of time and its been long time since i had an accident and AES can only pay me SSP backdated for three months. My company never takes my requests and complains seriously i have sent them written complains as well so i am hopeless that they will solve this problem. -
Hi I need some help, i am a casual worker and work for security company . Last year in December i had an accident and i was off sick more than 28 days. My contract manager (now former) called me and asked me that i need to provide medical documents, if i fail to provide then they would not pay me sick pay. I then provided him all medical documents like doctor's note etc but after that i did not hear any thing. I kept asking him when he is going to pay but every time he made excuse and said that he will pay me in next pay date (monthly). Now my contract has been taken over by new manager when i asked her about my sick pay then she said that i am not eligible for the sick pay. I rang Employment and Support agency and i been told that they need SSP1 form filled in by my employer and also need to attach original medical documents. They also said i am running out of time because its been log time when i had an accident. I rang my company and asked them to send my medical documents back but they said they cant find them , i also rang my contract manager for SSP1 form and i was surprised when she said what is SSP1 form. I explained to her that SSP1 form which employer has to fill in and send it back to the employee, she replied rudely that she is not in the office so cant check then put the phone down on me. I dont know what to do i rang my surgery and they said they will provide back dated sick notes but i dont know what to do as my contract manager not providing me SSP1 form. Any help will be much appreciated Regards
