Hi guys need advice please. I've been paying a debt for a car that I bought on HP over 10 years ago. Long story but I was conned and fell hook line and sinker. I've been paying every month a small amount to appease Vauxhall and I've now received the attached documentation. may I ask..... Do i need to change payment through my bank ? Is this allowed ? Will they now contact me to ask for more ? Is there a chance of getting rid of them ie sending prove it letter and hope they never collated the original documentation ? Hi He's been and gone, took a few pictures and just said he will be in contact. I'm going to guess he's going to put the rent up from 650 to 1000 which is a massive jump. I just wanted to no if that was allowed?? And whether I can appeal against such a huge rise.

Hi Just an update. After my LL text message now over a week ago, I replied the same day to arrange a different time from the time specified, and now a week or more has passed with no reply. This is typical behaviour from him and annoys the hell out of me as I have to work like the rest of us.

Why are you targeting the fact I missed a payment twice in 3 years and not helping me with the issue. I've stated why they were missed, so why are we still discussing it.

The rent date sometimes falls on a Sunday or a bank holiday when banks aren't open. The rent has only ever been 24 hours late twice in 3 years.

If the agent comes and tries to get me to sign anything what shall I do??

Thanks for all the help guys much appreciated. To start, yes the deal was stay there for that original amount for as long as required. This was agreed due to the fact we are or "were" close family friends and would look after the house as if it was ours. This included having pets, redecorating, TV on walls ect ect all verbally established by the LL and his mummy and daddy!!!!!! (this is why the idiot didn't help with repairs as I think he thought "well it's there house so they can fix the issues" I understand this can changed, but just wanted to no if the contract meant S#it and if rasing the rent by my guess of 300 is alowed or not?

He did take a deposit and no I didn't get any number for registration. Boiler and all is checked and re notice to quit I don't no what that is.

It was periodic from day one with no end date but I have never signed anything since that contract 3 years ago.

And the shower pump! This is what I mean. over the 3 years he's just ignored our messages about the house issues and said "yeah I'll get it sorted" and never did. I just need to no the legals of.... How much can he raise the rent and if there is anything I can do if it's exhaustionate......
