I have the same problem....I have been restricted from selling,, as partly I have multiple accounts that I thought I had closed...but as I found out they hadn't...and you are not allowed to sell with restricted accounts....I have emailed them for the last 2 weeks to sort this and all they can say is we cant close any accounts so I cant reregister...not that I want to now after the way I have been treated....they will not take any notice..... so I have registered with another auction site.....and the sad thing is I am a business man.......they make their own rules up as they go I think....

After previous disputes on this page regarding samsung r730 (which is working now).i got behind with payments and agreed to have a prepaid meter installed back in april/may no-one has been to empty it for weeks,and then this morning i get a threatening letter saying they are taking me to court over non payment,i contacted bayv over this this morning and they said letters had been sent out to me,which i have not recieved over this,bayv have had enough out of me after ordering a toshiba satellite back in june 2010 that was not repairable after having it long enough to nearly have paid for it,i was given the above said reconditioned one to replace it but had to take out another account for it,which i have since found out should not have happened, well bayv only want your money,money,money and dont give a s**t about there customers at all. And know i wont be recommending bayv to anyone i know. i have since contacted my solicitor regarding this harrassment from bayv and i am with in my rights to complain about bayv,its in my solicitors hands now.
  3. yes he did instruct bank not to let any more payments go through and they said they couldnt stop them. we never recieved any paper work through the post it was all done by email and phone calls, we did contact them via email to make other arrangements for payment and they did agree to contact us with arrngement but they never did and continued taking payments out. he has tried a couple of banks for a basic account and still got refused, he even tried to get a new card from bank to stop all this happening but natwest were totally unhelpful. so much for the advertising, we will help you?

My partner had an account with natwest,and due to personal finance problems we started to use payday loan companies,all loan payments were paid on time straight out of his wage but as this was a vicious circle we decided to apply for a loan to pay so that we could pay over long term,this loan was with oakham finance,first few payments went through fine,then we ran into more difficulties and contacted oakham to arrange lower payments and they agreed to this,but then they started taking payments on unscheduled payment dates and this made me overdrawn with my bank every month,he tried to keep them down as much as he could and contacted natwest to cancel or stop any unscheduled payments and they were totally unhelpful,he contacted oakham and told them they had made him overdrawn at his bank and they werent willing to help neither,so to cut a long story short,he was was well overdrawn by hundreds of pounds and now natwest have closed his account and not willing to help him in any way even though its not his fault,as he's unable to pay this overdraft.now he cant open another bank account with any other bank,
  5. i was not directing my comments to anyone in particular,i was just annoyed at not being able to use laptop,im sorted now i hope?

After a previous dispute with bayv, I had what I thought to be a great laoptop, after contacting the relevant people I received recovery disc but they won't install software to restore to factory settings I've been trying all weekend, what a pile of crap, my online business is suffering and I'm losing money, Samsung is pile of crap
  7. Dear Graham, i would like to say a big thank to you and everyone involved resolving this matter,i now have a lovely laptop and im well pleased,my opinion of BAYV has changed.after this matter being resolved. best regards

BAYV does not look after its customers.you make the rules as you go a long,and my reason for doing so is i bought a toshiba laptop in april/may 2010 and i thought great i can get myself sorted internet wise,ie banking,ebay,emails etc. everything was fine for a good 6 months then the problems started,slow internet (not my fault,problem was laptop)laptop kept crashing i cleaned it reinstalled corrupt files/downloads etc ,well to cut a long story short i finally got it working like a dream,then last wednesday 28th MARCH 2012,it suddenly creashed on me,this was late at night so i thought go to bed let it cool down and try in morning, nothing? i rung BAYV to tell them what had happened they said someone would contact me for pick up,i waited all day and contacted BAYV again they said repair centre would contact me with update of repair,but when the call came from repair centre it was to arrange pick up and i told him it had been picked up by my area manager on the 28th a full 4 days before,he said he knew nothing till i told him what had happened, i contacted my area manager via my collector to see what was wrong,i was told it was unrepairable and they had closed my account down for the laptop WITHOUT OFFERING ME A REPLACEMENT,which their policy states they knew what they were doing because i recieved a letter stating the fact today,they new all along they were'nt gonna help because it had to have been sent before they told me anything via phone calls on 4th april and recieved letter 5th april that was sent 3rd april and i rung yesterday to sort this out ,this is bull****. i now have no laptop and BAYV DONT WANT TO KNOW NOW,I AM TAKING THIS MATTER UP WITH TRADING STANDARDS,i have a online business to tend to and with no laptop im losing money, BAYV HAVE A LOT TO ANSWER TO AND THEY HAE THE CHEEK TO ASK WOULD I RECOMMEND A FRIEND **NO CHANCE**
