Hi I just wanted to report and get advice about a recent overcharge at Tesco's. I bought a lego set priced at about £45 marked down from about £60 and now, three days later, I see the price on my receipt is £59.97. I don't normally shop at Tesco and it is only now that I am aware that they have a reputation for overcharging. I am certain that the shelf tag matched the item because I spent considerable time considering the purchase and price checking on my iphone, and the decider was that the price matched amazon, who are usually very competitive. I should have checked the receipt in store at the till, but I had bought several items, paid by card and was feeling pretty rushed cos I was handling my kids. I have already emailed Customer Services and have asked for the difference to be refunded. I'm usually pretty good at writing complaints so hope they will respond well. I feel pretty stupid for not catching this in store, especially as I left feeling chuffed at the deal, but also angry that I have been ripped off!
