Claim back the charges from halifax for sending a representative to my door without an appointment . £85 every time ??

The halifax have made 4 visits without an appointment . does this mean I can claim this back ??

I am looking for work and know that would be the best thing. I could easily afford the mortgage plus some then. I have been told I am entitled to smi but they changed my benefits. Told I am allowed both icome and contributions. So can |I ask the court to stay this ??

I cannot get my head around this.. I was told i was on Income based . then told it was a mistake. so they are now telling me I have to have six months on contribution based and then wait another 13 weeks. Mean while |I am being evicted on the 5th October. I did not go to the courts because I managed to get a temp job. I rang the halifax and they said it would be better if i worked and paid my mortgage. The hearing was on the 6th of March. I started work on the 5th. I paid my mortgage every week . Including the extra they asked for. When the temp job finished I contacted halifax and they said if the dwp paid my interest they would be ok about it ... But they didn't

I have been told to get an JSA 3 form but by the look of it this will takes ages to be dealt with. Looking on the net I have seen people mention an MI12 form. Should fill in both ?? Thank you all

Thanks. I will go back tomorrow. Regarding the JSA I was told I was on income based and would get SMI . I have only worked for 9 weeks in a temp position. When I received the eviction notice from the court I contacted DWP, they said it was a mistake and I was on contribution based with a underlying eledgability to income based, whatever that means. The lady at housing also spoke to them and basically said ..... They say you can't claim smi until next January ???? Goodness knows, I have no partner, no children and no savings... Re claiming ESA I claimed last year but was told I am fit for work. I am on medication for life now for my depression and also have COPD. I am so worried about being homeless. If the court allows me more time is their anything I can do or say to them ??

I owe 3800 including charges . I have a 35 grand mortgage. I have more than 50% equity

But now jsa said that was a mistake. Though I have a letter saying I was on income based. Well it seems likes 2 weeks and I will be homeless . Have contacted the council. Hi Lea, The mortgage is repayment and only £250 a month, so I know once working I can easy pay it plus extra every month. No I have not contacted the lender yet, kust got my head round this and applied for JSA yesterday. I will contact them on monday, my head is all over the place Thank you , all of, you are so kind.

Can anyone give me any advice. I have suffered with depression over the last 7 years. The last year being the worst. Have not worked much due to this, and have to admit I have buried my head in the sand Stupid i know. Since november i have not worked or claimed any benefits. I am now getting better and trying to sort things. I have been referred for councelling and have now claimed JSA and am activly looking for work. My problem is, is there anything I can do as I live alone, JSA will not pay interest on mortgage for 13 weeks and I cannot come to an arrangement for a payment plan unless i am in work. My arrears are £2,274 my mortgage is for £35,000 (inc arrears) and my house is worth aprox £75,000 so I am a long way from being in negative equity. It there anything I can do ??? Hi All, Just a quick update from my friends lowells. CCA request sent recorded 8/7/11 Doorestep letter sent same day proof of posting CCA received and signed for 9/7/11 No phone calls or anything... ( starting to feel lonely ha ha ) 20/7/11 Letter from Samantha Barnard confirming received CCA request and confirming there will be no doorstep callers and evething from now on will be in writing ONLY TOOK THEM 11 DAYS TO REPLY !!!! 22/7/11 Letter received from Andrew Bartles (RECEIVED 1 DAY BEFORE 12+2 IS UP) Stating they have that they have asked the OC for the credit agreement and they will do there best to reply in 12 working ? days (Are they havin a laugh. the 12 +2 already up) but does depend on when the OC can send it. Is it me or are they taking the Michael ??? Any comments please. Should I send the in dispute letter on Monday anyway. Lewte Oh and SAR was sent to Clap1 12.7.11 Received 13th. Heard nothing as yet. Irisis All I know is that is what I did , and because they were in the wrong It worked for me. It was really scarey when the bailiff was outside the door with the big Van. I have never known anything like it. Stick up for yourself if you know you are right. You dont have time for letters and procedure when the bailiffs are wrongfully on your doorstep. Local Government are a law unto themselves. AND MAKE MISTAKES OFTEN What I did worked for me . Lewte Still Smiling xx
