  1. I bought a Apple Macbook Pro on Hire purchase in april 2010 and the payments were meant to start the following month... they never did. I went into my local apple store 3 times to try and resolve the problem but they never got back to me after alll saying to me "We shall contact our partners involved in this contract (barclays) and see what's happened". "After one year and not a word from either company i received an email from apple: We hope you are enjoying your apple products that you purchased back in April last year. As you may be aware Barclays and Apple have been having a few issues with finance agreements, from 2010. Unfortunately your Barclays Finance Loan appears to be one of the pending agreements. In order for us to rectify this situation as quickly as possible, we would require your presence in store. As a gesture of goodwill we will be offering you a discount on the product you have purchased. Please could you contact us at your earliest convenience so we can arrange a suitable time for yourself and ensure that we can assist you straight away. " they just assume i would know about this pending agreement??? Personally i am quite angry about this very slap-dash response but i understand this problem involves a lot of customers. However i really want to push for more than just a petty little discount. Because this problem is their error and they failed to notify me do i have a lot to fight them with?
