  1. My insurance company has been doing this for years.
  2. Hi I have received notification from police on last day of six month prosecution limit saying I am to answer for speeding. Thing is its not a summons its headed Postal Requisition. It isn't dated, it has no magistrates details other than a name which the MoJ say doesn't exist. It lists a hearing date at a different magistrates court address. Any advice or explanation welcome.
  3. Hi I have received a summons from a magistrates court that doesn't exist. It is not on MoJ list and email enquiry confirmed it does not exist. Does this mean the summons cannot be enforced? Any advice I can read anywhere on how magistrate courts come into being or where they get authority to exist/issue summons would be appreciated. Magistrates actually hold court in another courts building. Thanks.
  4. The TPT is NOT a court. It is a privately funded strong arm enforcer for local authorities. I have a JR being considered by a high court judge right now. I don't need your patronising, support the system abuse attitude so will not be debating the matter any further.
  5. Make the most of it because unlike your car there is nothing to stop the baliffs taking your PC to pay your debt. There's my locked front door!! You must be one of those who ask how high when someone says jump. I will never stop fighting the imposition of morally and legally wrong practices which have no basis in law. The TEC was set up as part of the system of civil parking enforcement. Neither it or the TPT have any legal basis for existing outside of that legislation. TPT adjudicators have no legal standing and cannot make any truely enforceable legal decisions. They hide behind the fact they are not employed within a real legal setting and keep all their recordings of hearings them selves, refuse to honour the FOI system and need to be taken to a real court and overturned. The TEC is a collection service for local authorities and again has no real legal basis. Everyone has the right to a hearing in their own local court but the TEC write a load of illegal conditions on their warrants giving the impression that there is nothing you can do. There is. FIGHT
  6. Well said Marincor. I join sites like this to fight the system . I find it strange how many people give advice which is to roll over, pay up or otherwise give the state exactly what it wants. I will never roll over, I spend all my time looking for loopholes and fighting the unfair, corrupt, biased system which is designed to keep the minions in their place and the rich, elitist minority in the lap of luxury at everyone elses expense.
  7. The TEC have been created using dodgy legislation and a system totally stacked in favour of their system. They should be unable to register debts and send in bailiffs without checking the validity of the information they are using to persecute and intimidate people. If they did not receive any money they would be unable to exist, every organisation needs funding. Any other view would be extremely naive. Do you work for them or something?
  8. Hi Marincor I received a PCN. I appealed. it was rejected. I took it to the TPT. The councils expert witness said I was right to suppose I could legally park where I was. The adjudicator said if the law was ambiguous then she must find in my favour. However she then backtracked and adjourned for the council to submit further evidence. The second hearing found in the councils favour. I know the bailiff law but what they do in practice and what the law says they should do are completely different. disabled people have had their motability cars illegally clamped by bailiffs and been forced to pay or go to court to get their vehicles back. Also they can't force entry but they do intimidate vulnerable people. See the CAG forum for cases. I have received information regarding the TEC. They seem to be interpreting the law very favourably to their advantage but are not being challenged through the courts unfortunately.
  9. Politicians appear to be intensively trained to mislead the public with their crocodile tears and false sympathy for the plight of victims of thier incompetence and failure to address the majority concerns. They only represent big business and very rich individuals who can afford lobbyists and contributions to party funds. The rest of us are an inconvenience to their masterplan. Responding to calls like this for interaction and debate, are, IMO utterly futile without root and branch reform of our political system.
  10. The TPT was last year. I applied for a review but it was refused. I had time to apply for a judicial review but the TPT avenue was exhausted. I didn't get the barrister until legal aid was granted for the crown court appeal against the magistrates conviction of the police tickets. I could still have taken the TPT to a judicial review but wouldn't have had legal aid to do so.
  11. Thanks for the help guys. I offered £5 a week which is genuinely all I can afford with everything else I have to pay. Actually zero is left after I pay everything but thats not an option. I don't drink or smoke or go pubbing or clubbing. I have asked my MP to asist and he has contacted some head honcho at the council to intervene. Lets hope that works.
  12. hi Thanks for the email address. Thats the one I have been using to correspond with parking services. They replied by letter stating they will let the warrant take its course because it would take too long to pay them at the rate I was offering and ignoring all my info on my means and situation. My vehicle is a motability car.
  13. Definition of a Vulnerable Adult A Vulnerable Adult is a person aged 18 or over, "who is or may be in need of community care services by reason of mental or other disability, age or illness and who is, or maybe unable to take care of him or herself or unable to protect him or herself against significant harm or exploitation " " Law Commission Report, 1997 " Just thought this might be helpful in defining vulnerability. Copied it from Harrow council adult services webpage. Bailiffs are a remnant of a bygone age and should be abolished. Everyone has income, whether from the state or not and the IT systems of today should be able to deduct payments at source from that income. This would be much more efficient IMO, although I don't agree with the system of fining people who live on benefit which the law says is the minimum necessary to live on but thats another issue I guess.
