i think the best you can do get them to track down where it went to from their bank as you refuse to pay. once they have traced and got back the payment then simply offer them the capital lent with no interest...... if you go overdue for around two months they will offer this as a settlement usually anyway. cancel your card too, they will go for this on payday even if the probelm isnt sorted, you can bet on it

yes your right, these sort of companies will take what they want when they want....get the standing order in place

Simply give them a call and ask for collections as you want to set up a payment plan. If you give them card details they will take the lot, beware either load some cash up on a pre-paid debit card or ask for their bank details so you can transfer the funds....... you maye have already sorted this out by now
