hi needs ,excellent news , had to apply for another crisis loan so at least we can eat lol. if i havent heard anything by tuesday then i will phone them again and again until they are sick of hearing my voice lol should make them pay up hopefully . But yes they do seem to lack in contact and if it wasnt for us chasing them up god knows how long it would take . Anyway you go an enjoy your money ,mind you if like us majority will be on bills

Thank you Erika for your very helpful reply , i thought i would ring pension credit this morning before crisis loans ,anyway spoke to a nice man who said our application is live and saying pending payment , he seems to think that as soon as application is finalised we should get payment within 2-3 days , if by tuesday i havent recieved anything then too give them another ring ,so im pretty hopeful we should have it by the wkend , if not we can last till tuesday even thou it will be tight ,dont really want another crisis loan unless absolute emergency . hi all my o/h applied for pension credit 11 wks ago and it was only last week we had someone out for home visit ,all went well and chap said we should recieve payment within 10 days ,anyway phoned them up this morning and everything has gone through but just waiting for it to become LIVE before they could issue payment ,when i asked how long she said approxmiately 2-3 weeks .i asked if this could be pushed thru as emergency and she said no. Why the hell does it now take 3 weeks to issue payment ??? Im so cross becoz we are really struggling have 2 school age children {partner is older than me ) and can hardly put food on the table let alone pay bills and have already had 2 crisis loans so cant ask for more . can someone please advise as to what i should do im so desperate and bloody angry ,it will be almost 15 weeks if i go by what they say !!

Yes they dont seem in much of a hurry to get things sorted do they ? I just found that by phoning on a regular basis seems to get them moving . We were so desperate last week that i thought id try for a crisis loan didnt think we would get it but we did , so if you need too maybe give crisis loans a ring and see if they can help you out . Will keep you updated with any progress

had interview with a really nice man working for pension credit all went well and should recieve payment within nxt 10 days ,so needs hope everything gets sorted for you soon

All sorted .. Just spoke to nice lady explained the problem and after answering a few questions she awarded me £114 .37 to see me thru till tuesday so have to go and collect at 2-20pm today .Thank you Paul for your much needed help and to everyone else hope you all get yours sorted too

hi paul thanks for quick reply . i was gob smacked that he hung up but will try again in few mins and do everything you have just said . I live in colchester so not sure where abouts i got thru to probably Basildon or southend . Im just worried i will get turned down becoz i had a small crisis loan last week. Im just so desperate to get money for a bit of shopping for rest of week and some gas /electric and becoz of the bank charges i am now overdrawn which means my child benefit on monday will also be swallowed up ... BUt hey ho the sun is shining so at least dont need my heating only hot water !!!

phoned crisis loans a little while ago and spoke to snotty bloke who just didnt seem interested at all and when i tried to say that im nearly out of gas/electric the phone went dead .... yes he cut me off the sleazy weasel .. tried again but was put on hold for 15 mins so got fed up and will try again shortly .

so i could apply for another , gosh i really feel bad to ask for another but am so desperate ,have borrowed all i can from my family so cant go down that route ,just need enough till monday and hopefully should get our backpay thru nxt week .

WOW !!!! have just seen the reply from jackieandwayne and cant believe how spot on you are with this . Nephew really tries to be overpowering with ben ( cant control his own 2 dogs) and ben really does not like him at all so yes perhaps the behaviour is directed at him and not his dogs ( all makes sense now ) , when he goes for walks he often runs ahead but if we go out of sight he is very quickly with us , if other people are about with dogs he is with us and i feel very safe with him knowing if needed he would definately protect us , he is so loveable and everyone that meets him say what a well behaved dog he is , he is adorable and im so proud .Oh and nephew has moved so no longer see him or his dogs lol

hi all , my other half put in a claim for pension credit 9 wks ago and finally we had someone out today ( really nice ) from pensions and said more or less we have a claim but it will be another 10 days before payment can be made , now i have 2 children of school age and we are living on £85 ctc and £33 c/b a week ..that is all i have coming in , i applied for a crisis loan last week as hardly any money for food as bank took a £35 charge , i have noticed another charge today and have now been left with no money at all till nxt monday , have very little food and need to top up my gas/electric , anyway how likely is it that i could get another loan as im sure my money should be in my account nxt week and could pay them off.

hiya needs , i think 20 wks is an outrage ,we have been waiting 9 wks without no reply , last 2 wks i have been phoning twice a week and last wk when i phoned they said that we needed a home visit and somebody should be in touch , but still waiting . im going to give them till tmrw and phone again ,this is an outrage ,have bills to pay and 10 wks behind with my rent also as housing benefit wont pay out till we get a decision from pension credit ........ as i write pension credit have just phoned .. other half talking to them now .... ok they are coming out on the 21st ,still not good enough at least another bloomin week before anything happens . I would get on the phone and tell them you are desperate to get this sorted .... goood luck
