  1. hiya Ian I'm a new cagger myself and I wouldn't want to give you bad advice. I sent a letter to Vanquis, but haven't heard back yet. However if and when I do hear, if its a good result I will happily let you know. In the meantime ask some of the other guys in the forum for help. A lot of them, unlike me, know what they are talking about. But for what its worth, and from what I could see, your so called credit agreement, looks like mine, and I am pretty sure that mine is unenforceable. They sent an application form that hadn't any details on at all........completely blank, no name, address, packdrill, nothing,...... and definitely not a signature in sight!........oh and a copy of the terms and conditions......and nowt else! If I get a reply, however, I'll let you know......good or bad. Meanwhile ask Vint1954 or Scot for help........they're in the place where you posted. Good luck:) Suze x
  2. hi Vint1954 Thanks for the letter. I posted it today and I will let you know how I get on. Cheers Suze x
  3. hi Sorry for repeating myself in my previous post. I haven't had my caffeine fix yet. Suze x
  4. hiya guys I hope I am in the right place. I cca''d vanquis a couple of weeks back and yesterday I received the following, quote 'A copy of the executed Agreement being:- A copy of the executed Agreement being:- 1) The Vanquis Visa Card terms and conditions 2) The reply card That's it. Can anyone advise what to do next? Many thanks Suze x
  5. hi everyone, Can an online application that has been 'electronically' signed become unenforceable? When I filled in an online application form for a couple of credit cards and mail order catalogues, my only 'signature' was the tick in the required box. I remember very clearly that I never physically signed anything. Could those agreements become unenforceable?.......if my only 'signature' is the tick in the box? I'm a bit confused and any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys Suze x
  6. hiya everyone I requested a copy of my credit card cca on 19 October but forgot to send it recorded delivery. However my cheque was cashed yesterday, but that means nothing, as most of the time cheques are cashed anyway, right? Should I send another letter recorded delivery or wait and see if they do reply within 12 days and 2? Many thanks. s xx Suze
  7. hi MFL My mail order accounts are with Littlewoods and Empire Stores. I have sent them letters basically telling them that I am struggling to pay at the moment, and made them a lower payment offer. Littlewoods have more or less told me 'no way jose', but Empire have accepted my offer for three months, after which time my account and ability to pay will be under revision. However, I am worried about the effect this will have on my credit file, as I am only one month adrift with both of them......I think I will request a cca and see what transpires.......although help and advice will be very welcome.... Good luck to all craggers:)......Thanks me x (Suze)
  8. hiya What about mail order catalogues? Can their cca be unenforceable? And if they are what happens to the stuff you have bought? And if like credit cards and loans they could be uneforceable, what happens to your credit report if you stop paying completely because of unenforceability? I am new here re so be gentle with me:) suzie x
  9. hi shadow Thanx for that. I am two payments behind on my Vanquis credit card, and have been worrying myself stupid. I have had the account now for five years and have never had any problems up until now. I know the a.p.r. is high, but at the time I needed it to try to try and improve my poor credit rating. And it certainly has. Anyway I have just managed to set up a payment arrangement with them, and they have said they will review my account in six months. Obviously if my circumstances improve, then 'normal service' will be resumed as soon as possible:D suzie S
  10. hi How many payments adrift before default is registered on your credit file? Thanks s
  11. hi if you fancy a managed account try Think banking........there's no credit check.......you have your own money manager, they give you two accounts, one for dd's and standing orders, and a debit card just for spends.......
  12. hiya try barclays cashcard account.........its good for bad credit and even bankrupt's. You get a visa connect card......check it out! suzie
