HI ALL I THINK I HAVE CRACKED IT DOES IT LOOK OK TO ALL REGARDS ED Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter dated 24th March 2010. I am writing to you today as the PPI refund amount and the total paid figures are wrong, therefore I am rejecting your offer. The total I have paid up to 19/09/2009 is £7,537.78, this comprised of 21 payments of £215.09, 1 payment of £223.43, followed by 10 payments of £253.43 and finally 1 payment of £263.43. A copy of my loan statement is attached for your records, as proof of my payment and your receipt of the above stated amounts. The amount you say I have paid is £7,342,96, a copy of which is also for your records enclosed. That’s a difference of £194.82. The PPI total you have offered me is £1,614.22, which you are implying should be divided up as £1045.16 for my arrears and £569.06 for compensation, plus the statutory 8%, which amounted to £185.26. The total amount for PPI and LC that I have paid is £1,690.97. That was charged a monthly interest rate of 27.2% and then there is the statutory 8% charge. The amount I was charged for PPI and LC was £1690.97; you are offering me less than this with the interest and the statutory 8%. The total I am claiming is £1690.97 for the PPI and LC with 33 monthly interest payments of 27.2%, which amounts to £785.40 plus the statutory 8% interest which comes to £198.11. Hi Oz Many Thanks For Your Reply As Far As I Know I Was Claiming A Ppi Refund Of £1690.97 For Ppi Then There Was 34 X £23.60 Interest Payments Then There Was Also The Statuary 8% So All In All About £2800. From What I Can Make Of Their Offer Is They Are Going To Clear My Arrears Of £1045 Which I Didnt Have Untill My Account Went Into Dispute Then They Are Going To Compensate Me For £383.80 And The Give Me The Statuary 8% WHich Totals £185.26 And Thats A Grand Total Of £1614.06. That Makes My Claim Short Of £1185.94. Do You Have Any Suggestions What To Do Next Or How They Have Come Up With This Figure. Regards Ed
