After sending my dpa letter to Barclaycard and before i even got a chance to send dpa letter to Barclays, i received a phone call last night asking was I happy with customer service etc, what could they do to make the service better........see my seperate thread headed Barclaycard. DPA letter sent 29/3 to Barclays........ j.

I am amazed.......have account with Barclays........have not sent dpa letter to them yet........after sending letter to Barclaycard received a late night phone call from Barclays.......presumed they were trying to sell a product......could not believe it....they wanted to know if there was anything Barclays could do for me. Was I happy with customer service, told them I was unhappy with overcharging etc......they asked what they could do and i said refund the charges......the very polite lady said she would look into it for me.......very strange..........will send the dpa letter anyway. j.
  4. received letter requesting £10 fee....should have sent to begin with....they are using this as delaying tactic i am sure......

  8. Get the ball rolling girl, i get so frustrated with this carry on. They charge you because they've taken you over the limit!!! Just seems very unfair that banks can get away with this. Good luck in your quest!!!

  21. I sent my first DPA letters last week and have received a reply from Morgan stanley and Nationwide. Morgan Stanley looking for £10 and ID. Is this really necessary to proceed? Are these charges within the law? Nationwide state they are looking into my case and will get back to me. fab website. can't believe so many getting ripped off. Keep you all updated. jh
