Thanks for that. LBA sent and they offered partial refund. Now trying to make Money Claim online but cannot proceed as defendants address is not in England. Morgan Stanleys office is in Glasgow. Any advice? Bonniebergin

Confirmation of receipt of letter before action letter received. They will get back to me in 28 days with reply.

Claimed £407.89 (inc. interest). Received offer 9/5/06 £136.00 plus £5.20 in interest. Interest i claimed £67.89. Not happy with this offer. Not sure what step to take next. Don't really want to end up in SCC if i can help it. Should i send another letter asking for better offer/full settlement?

Apologies moderators, i do have a seperate thread in OI headed 'MINT......' for this but have not had any suggestions. I have received a letter from MINT asking the following: ' With reference to your second paragraph, please explain your interpretation of the term 'manual intervention' and advise your exact requirements in this respect' I'm not 100% on how to reply to this. Can anyone help. I've checked out FAQ's etc and not found an answer. Many thanks and apologies again for starting new thread.

Also in the letter they say they will release statements once £10 has cleared. I am presuming I can start the 40 days from date they receive £10 and not when cheque actually clears. Should I state this in my reply also. Thanks Bonniebergin

Received first reply from MINT requesting £10.00. I am aware should have sent this to begin with but didn't realise until after letter had gone. Still no reply from MINT. Have sent a reminder letter with copy of original dpa letter and sent by recorded delivery. jh
