Just another update for you. The Parking Charge was passed to Zenith Collections who immediately reduced the charge to £79.99. A second letter has arrived from them stating the charge will revert to £160 within 14 days and then passed to their Legal department with the recommendation that legal proceedings are necessary

A further letter has arrived with a Final Settlement Offer reducing the charge to £136 before considering court action

So its just a case of continue to ignore

Another threatagram just arrived from DRP with a Notice of Intended Court Action for unpaid parking charge £160. They again remind me of the Supreme Court Ruling in November 2015

Just an update, just received a threatagram from Recovery Debt Plus stating the Charge has increased to £160. They then quote Important Information about the Supreme Court ruling a parking charge was lawful details of which can be found at http://www.supremecourt.uk/cases/uksc-2015-01-16:html These fellows dont have the best reputation in Debt collecting

Well surprise, surprise, the second letter has arrived increasing the fine to £100 stating it has to be paid within 14 days of issue. They have also requested the name and address of the driver of the vehicle

For windscreen tickets (NTD) please answer the following questions. 1 The date of infringement? February 2018 2 Did you appeal to the parking company? If yes, has there been any response? If no, have you received a Notice To Keeper? (NTK) Did the NTK provide photographic evidence? Just received so haven't appealed it yet. An NTK received and photo evidence provided 3 Did the NTK mention Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (PoFA) Contravention Reason 46) Stopping in a zone where stopping is prohibited 4 If you appealed after receiving the NTK, did the parking company give you any information regarding the further appeals process? [it is well known that parking companies will reject any appeal whatever the circumstances] N/A as yet 5 Who is the parking company? Vehicle Control Services Limited - Site name Gallagher Leisure Park For tickets received through the post (Notice to Keeper) please answer the following questions. 1 Date of the infringement 17/02/2018 2 Date on the NTK 23/02/2018 3 Date received 28/02/2018

Just received a NTK from these chancers for allegedly Stopping in a Zone where stopping is prohibited. It was near Scun thorpe Football Club. I certainly didnt see any signs highlighting this. I have read numerous posts on here about ignoring however, I dont want any negative marks on my credit file. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Just want to forward an update. Just received 2 letters today, one from my Local County Court and one from Howard Cohen. The first states that It is ordered that the Claim is "Struck out", the hearing listed is vacated. It further states that " Because this order has been made by the court without considering representations from the parties, the parties have the right to apply to have the order set aside, varied or stayed. A party wishing to make an application must send or deliver the application to the court to arrive within 7 days of service of the order. The second letter I received from Howard Cohen states they have been instructed by their client to discontinue the Claim with the court. They state they will notify the court that the claim has been discontinued. They remind me that this does not mean that I am no longer liable for the debt and their clients may decide to take legal action in the future. They have also attached a Notice of Discontinuance although this has the court down as Northampton Business Centre rather than my local CC

Hi Andy Less than a week to go before the Court hearing and still nothing from Hoist. Do I just attend Court or can I request a strike out as I havent received anything Cheers SHB

Hi Andy, the Court advised I email the court to confirm Hoists lack of compliance and see if the Judge strikes it out. I have emailed to confirm this and await the courts response. I wont be advising Hoist. Will update you in due course, thanks again SHB

Just spoke to court and they have advised that I email them to advise nothing been received from Cohens/Hoist within the set timescales. See what happens then

Hi lads, just got back from my holidays yesterday and checked the Mcol site. There is no update to confirm receipt of my Witness Statement although my Recorded Delivery receipt has been signed for. Will ring the courts to confirm. Still nothing received from Cohens/Hoist

Thanks for all your helps lads. I have typed it all up and they will be posted special delivery tomorrow. I have added a statement confirming that I still havent received the claimants witness statement. Will update you in due course and sincere thanks for your help

Cheers Andy, just to clarify that if I forward the above to both the Court and a copy to Cohens then attend court on the due date. Should the statement be posted or uploaded via the MCOL website. Finally, should I add anything to say that I havent received anything by way of WS from Cohens/Hoist

Andy, I have to return the WS by tomorrow. As a WS, is it ok or would you suggest I include the Termination Notice? Is the WS ok in its existing format and if so, I presume I wouldnt need to forward anything else A lump sum was paid into the account by Santander in 2011 but they refused to provide a breakdown as to what the payment related to. My last payment was 2009.

Hi Andy/dx100uk Is what I have posted ok to forward to the courts. Do I forward the copy to Hoist, Cohens or both? Because of the Stat Barred defence, I assume I dont forward any bundle to anyone thanks again SHB
