  1. Thank you Daniella, what a lovely reply. You are right. Like Tesco are so fond of saying, every little helps. Like you said even £1 would help towards the funds.
  2. I have just made a small donation. Sorry it isn't much but I am out of work at the moment and it was all I could afford. RIP Mr Kay, you have been a great help to so many over the years. I hope that we can reach the target for your memorial. EDIT: Please could you only use my first name? Thanks.
  3. Hi and thanks Anitaxx for the good advice you have given me here. I shall do as have suggested and also read the step-by-step. I guess the Abbey are going to play dumb with me also and it may take some time to recoup my losses but I won't give up and let them get away with this daylight robbery. Thanks again.
  4. Hi Guys, I would like to say hello to everyone on this community. I had made a post over @ MoneySavigExpert.com and bookwork1363 was kind enough to reply and said it would a good idea to join this forum which i'm pleased to say I did. My post over MSE.com which is here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=2251200#post2251200 As I stated there Abbey has charged me £160 for going overdrawn in May and as a consequence they have now put me into another overdraft for June to the tune of £35. I am going to go over my back statements to see just how much they have robbed me since the beginning of the year. I know that there are a few templates available to send to the Abbey and I told the lady over the phone that I was unhappy with Abbey for these charges and that I would be seeking legal advice. I shall look at the step-by-step guide to reclaim my money. However could anyone please recommend which letter template I should use to first contact the Abbey? Do I send the letter to the address on my bank statements and do I send correspondences via recorded delivery? Thanks in advance.
