  1. I'll add... that this is load of 'codswallop'...its my word of the month. More seriously though, it just goes to show the sort of rubbish the public will come up with to embelish a complaint.
  2. Please send me that memo, I'll then forward it to the SRA, chances are SE may lose their PF licence.
  3. Very much depends on which court you go to, there are sentencing guidelines which should be followed however some magistrates/DJs do whatever they want. Your figure is very much the average, must be quite a shock to fare dodgers expecting a £20 fine through the door
  4. You were not given a caution, you were cautioned before interview under PACE, two very different things. PAYG Oystercards are transferable but cannot be used on most National Rail trains, all other oystercards are not transferable. This gives you some mitigation, but not a defence. Telephone the prosecuting authority (the number will be on the summons) & state your case to them, they may decide to offer you a penalty fare rather than go to court. I hpe dis as bin of elp.
  5. Absolute codswallop, until PAYG is introduced on NR, point to point tickets will be exactly that, point to point. For example, if what you said was correct, London Terms to Wembley Central would be accepted at Grove Park, even though RSP wouldnt pass any part of the fare to the carrying TOC. This is extremely bad advice and could cause someone real legal difficulties if challenged by Revenue Protection.
