I know what you mean, but like Dave said they have size limits here, so they'd never be distracting -

I like them - possibly you get a little insight into the person's personality - maybe? -

Could be good, but I think just editing the title suffices - either suchandsuch case updated, or changed to a new more appropriate title like you suggested - it wouldn't affect people following the threads as the thread is still the same one, and then the entire history from 'Don't know if I can do this' to 'I WON!!' is all there in one place Just my opinion anyway

I thought they were being quite efficient - I sent my DPA request to my branch but got a reply within a few days from the Data Protection Team at Nationwide in Northampton, ..it was quite a helpful reply too - let's see if they come good in the end though...

Wondered if it was worth suggesting people use one thread for all the way through each specific case (I think most people do this anyway, however others I have seen are split into stages eg, prelim letter in one thread, LBA in another, refund in another etc). It's just much easier to follow if there is only one dedicated thread per case - otherwise there are threads that stop and hard to tell if they got further with the claim or not (unless of course you search for further threads by the same person)... Just a thought anyway, for what it's worth...

Try a NAT WEST STEP Account - you can apply online - I did and got the account and solo card sent to me within a week of application..

Isn't that expensive? Can you claim back costs for using them?

Any thoughts?

I am still really concerned that: 1. I am moving too fast on this and the court will think I haven't given the bank reasonable time 2. I didn't ask the bank about manual intervention because I already had statements and didn't apply using the dpa request. I am stuck home today unwell, so can't drop off the court claim until tomorrow when (I hope) I am better. In the meantime, bearing in mind I don't want to send the LBA as it is, because it is very similar to the preliminary letter I sent them already, I have since had an idea, based on a post I saw earlier today about manual intervention. I have drafted the following letter as it is a follow-on to my previous letter, and I think I'm ok about the 7 days having slightly lapsed as today is day 8 of 7 working days. Here is the draft: I do hope you don't think I'm being dense about this, but this is very daunting and scary for me, and I don't want to get to court (if that happens) and not be as prepared as possible, and I certainly will go to court if I have to.
