  1. In your 'Whatever Happens' documentation it will clearly state that software isn't covered. This even applies to drivers as 99% of them are free to download, this is why the Tech Guys won't cover them as it won't cost you a penny. If it does, you can claim that money back by writing a simple letter and attaching the receipts. It will be easier to get it fixed yourself (most likely for free) than spending money taking it back to the store where the staff aren't legally allowed to touch it for insurance reasons.
  2. I'm new here, so if I've posted this in the wrong section I apologise! Anyway back in December I ordered some flowers for a friend's birthday from Dutch Flower Shop as they were the only site I was able to get next day Saturday delivery on. Friday 5th December 11.30am - Flowers were ordered from their website, I paid £36.75 on my HSBC credit card for next day Saturday delivery which was 'guaranteed if the order was placed before 3pm the day before' (I have a screenshot of their old T&C page stating this) Saturday 6th December - Flowers not delivered Tuesday 9th December - Email arrived stating; Thursday 11th December - Flowers arrived, half were already dead and the rest died within a week. The friend was, needless to say, very dissapointed. But at least they were free, right? Wrong. Wednesday 14h January - My credit card statement arrives, £36.75 was taken from my credit card on 15th December. The statement goes up to 19th December, and during this period I have not been refunded. I wrote them an email having got their personal email address in their last correspondence. I have had no reply so far, and their website is now showing as 'under construction due to redesign'. I've not had a chance to contact them again since then as I've just started a new job, but where do I stand on this? Not only was I told that they would be sent with their compliments but I paid an extra £10 for Saturday delivery which didn't happen. I will try phoning them when I have my first day off on Friday but if there is no reply (as I'm expecting) then is it possible to claim anything through my credit card company? Any help anyone could give would be much appreciated.
