  4. Update... Recieved a letter from welcome yesterday: Thank you for bringing to our attention your complaint regarding your welcome Account. As per previous correspondance i understand that you do not want anyone from welcome to contact you via the telephone, however i do need further information as to why to why you believe the agreement is not enforceable. I have checked your agreement and both yourself and a member of staff from welcome have signed it. Can you please contact me either by phone or letter in order for me to look in to this matter further. Please contact me at your earliest convenience so i can assist with your complaint. So where do i go from here as i thought that my letter i originally sent had made it quite clear what i wanted.... The default notice i recieved runs to next Thursday.........

  7. 4th March 2009 Account Number: To Whom It May Concern, I have looked through my Credit agreement and noticed that you have charged interest on the Acceptance fee, which means that the agreement cannot be enforced as it hasn’t been executed properly, I would therefore ask that you cancel the agreement to avoid any future costs. I believe that this matter has already been decided for you ‘Wilson V First County Trust Ltd’. Many Thanks haven't printed it yet thought i would wait for your opinions

  17. Thanks for your help, I have done some calculations EG. Credit for goods £6519.00 15% interest £977.85 per Year * 4 = £3911.40 Acceptance Fee £195.00 15% interest £29.25 Per year * 4 = £117.00 Finance Charges for Good = £4028.40. As shown on agreement Item T. PLUS Acceptance Fee = £195.00 Option Fee = £100.00 Charge for credit for goods = £4323.40 Charge for credit for insurances = £567.00 Equals Total Charge for Credit £4890.40. As shown in Item X PLUS Mechanical Breakdown = £650.00 Shortfall Extra Ins = £295.00 Goods = £6519.00 Total Amount Payable £12354.40. As shown in Item F Minus £100 Option Fee (Payable with final monthly instalment) Divide by 48 Months. = Monthly Payment of £255.30.
