Hi Guys, I just wanted to give you an update. Despite the fact that I had surrendered and sent the money with all documents to the police for the points, I have received an mail telling me that they have completed discussion with my insurance company and could confirm that I had an insurance at that time. This means, no points for me and I've got my money back as well . Thanks for the help.

Hi Guys, I have a policy with norwich union and my car was insured since I had it. I've got a MOT(Can't find it but I will request it), valid tax disc. The only problem was that I had changed my number plate and I forgot to update my car insurance about this. So when I was driving yesterday the police stopped me claiming that I do not have any insurance(I still had the old number plate in the back). Anyway my car was seized, despite my original number plate in the back side and the police office told me that I will get 6 points and would have to pay the charges for my car. He also said that once I can proof I had a valid insurance I would not have to pay the charges nor get the points. Do I have any chance of winning in the court, as the car and I were insured, just not with the new number plate wich I put on recently. Help would be appreciated.

So do you think I should let them know about my address change ? As they do charge more for finding my new address.. Or should I just ignore them. -

I'll try and call them. I hope that the call was recorded as you would clearly hear how he guaranteed me selling my car in 7 - 9 days. -

They are really ridiculous ! I've emailed them again that I haven't received any login details and so on and I would like a refund. They're just ignoring me! Can I just got to my bank and ask them I would like to claim back money I've paid for a car ad ? -

I've already paid the debt off from the credit card. Would I still be eligible for a charge back ? They never emailed me any potential buyers or even gave me the login details to the website. -
Hello ! A guy from the website called me several times a week asking me if I would like to put my car on their website to sell it(As I am currently trying to sell the car). He said he gurantees me that they will sell the car in 7 - 9 days for the asking price which was £1200. I thought that sound good and he kind of spoke alot about it and that they will refund me the money if I am not happy and so on. So I agreed and payed a fee of £40 to have him put my car on his website. He did it and I didn't hear anything afterwards from him. I didn't even get any login details, not even after I have written them that I haven't received any information. My car is on the website and the money was taken, but after 10 days the car is still not sold and they never got back to me with any login details for the website. I was wondering if there is any way getting my money back ? He guaranteed me that they will sell the car, but nothing happens. I guess I've just been fooled. Do you think I am able to get my money back in form of real money and not a credit note(as mentioned there) Thanks for any help !

Hello People, Unfortunately I received a response from them today, after 1 Month. You will find their letter below. Just to clarify Gold's gym confirmed that they forgot to send me any notification about the outstanding payment. So this statement is not really true. Anyways, any ideas what I could do next ? Your contract with Gold’s Gym is NOT a Credit Agreement and therefore, your references to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 are wrong in this case. We have requested a copy of your contract from Gold’s and will forward this to you as soon as received. We must also advise that your debt has not been assigned to us, we simply act as Gold’s agent in collecting this debt. Therefore, it is not a requirement to have a deed of assignment at this stage. Gold’s Gym received notice to cancel from you, but you failed to pay the final month and did not respons to their correspondence, thus you are also liable for your fees, as per terms of your contract. Your settlement of 69 Pounds is therefore not acceptable. We trust this clarifies the matter and will supply your contract as soon as possible -
