  1. Sorry for Jumping in. I have received a letter a few days ago from BOS. My account is being passed to these clowns over the next few weeks. I owe just over 2k. I am repaying them at £68.00 per month. I have set up a DMP via Payplan. As soon as I received the letter I rang customer relations and asked for all my contact telephone numbers to be removed. I am looking forward in dealing with these. Payplan have already made the arrangements and sent the Income / Expens for to them, even though they are still BOS.
  2. I have been on an agreed arrangement plan via Payplan with Halifax with an unscured loan. I have kept to all the payments yesterday them pests at Albion were ringing several times an hour and sending texts. I give up ignoring them and spoke with them. The call something like Good afternoon I am calling from Albion collections in relation to the defaulted loan by our client Halifax. We are passing this to our solicitors Oliver, Clarke and wells. You can stop this action by making a payment on the account otherwiese we may send some around to your property or work place to discuss the arrears. I challanged everything which was being said to me. I mentioned the telephone harrasment and the fact Albion was the Halifax and Oliver clarke wells is not a solicitor and stated the OFT guidlines over mis representation... next thing I knew I was passed onto a team leader who apologised that my account is on an agreed repayment plan and they should be making contact with me. At 14:00 hrs today. I received a call from Customer relations could not be anymore sympathetic. They have removed all my telephone numbers from the accounts. The call was listened to and she was deeply sorry. No more further action will be taken on my account and that Payplan have passed all my payments to them and how much they support the pay plan scheme. She is also compensating me for the way I was dealt with under a goodwill gesture and a full review has been put into place. That was a quick turn around for them... Will see what happens!
  3. No charges on this account. I have PPI but claimed on it earlier this year.. Bad fall in ice!
  4. I have sent something similar to letter the NDH advised me to send. They also adv me to continue making payments to them. I wish they would reffer this to a debt recover agency at least then it would stop any additional interest!! Oh well so much for Helpful Banking. ha
  5. Ok, It is a credit card. I owe £390.83.. I am repaying £7.00 towards them. They accepted this. They are adding around £9.00 interest a month. It will never be payed. On review I be forced to make lower payments to other creditiors as this balance is increasing. I know they dont have to freeze interest. The latest letter is 2 pragraphs long. Contents have been noted and payments being received are covering both interest and the balance. Cannot see how they get to that...
  6. Hi I have been in touch with National Debt Helpline. They have set me up on a plan called CashFlow. One of there advisors have gone through my income and out goings. My re-payment plans have been accepted. All apart from Natwest have agreed to freeze interest. I have sent 2 letters to them now and both replies have been they will not freeze the interest. The balance will only increase rather than decrease. Anyone got any ideas for a letter to send.
  7. On noticed recently on Money Saving Expert that CrapOne offering cash back on Classic card accounts for new customers. I am a classic card customer. I choose this card as I pay it off in full each month. So I contacted customer services. The guy in India just wanted an argument and passed me to his manager. In the UK, must be an escalation customer care team. She had not heard of this and was adamant it was only for Mastercard World customers. She would not upgrade my account (Even though I never asked that question) Blah, Blah. I sent a letter to the executive complaints team. Received the same response I had mis read the offer and it was only for the Mastercard World customers, and to contact the Ombudsman as she had deadlocked my comlaint. I wrote back and included a print shot of the offer being offered to classic customers. I received another letter advising the previous 2 colleagues had made a mistake, I should not had been deadlocked and that the offer is only avilible to new customers, "We are not obliged to intergrate the facility". The letter went onto say if I was not happy I should close the account and apply elsewere! On the back page I noticed the word deadlocked again! These bunch are an absolute waste of space. They are only pushing me to the FOS as we all know if it is policy then the FOS are useless.
  8. No. And the FOS are poweless as it comes down to the banks policy and T&C's. Luckily enough I claimed back PPI from Halifax. Which cleared my overdraft. I now stick within my £300 limit and will be switching early next year.
  9. Cheers m8, I received a phone call from the Halifax. CEO team, customer relations office. They agreed with me that I pose no risk to them my overdraft was re-instated immediately. I offered to send her a copy of my credit score she advised they can view my score at any time in accordance with there terms and conditions.
  10. Just wondering, As I Barclaycard have refunded me the "Unfair" Charges is there a way of getting them to ammend any missed/late payment defaults on my credit score?
  11. I am very Happy. As I see it they have paid me a higher interest rate than a bank would on a savings account. And yes a donation will be made once I receive the funds.
  12. You will all be pleased to Hear, My settlement letter has today arrived from Barclay card offering me ..... £586.00 in charges and £206.28 statutory interest!! = £792.28 I am very happy, I just spoken to them and left them my bank details to pay the refund into. To add I never even sent them a schedule of payments in either!!
  13. Hi, I received a letter this morning from the Halifax Dated May 2010 explaining my overdraft was being reduced from £300.00 to £150.00 as of the 16th June 2010. Recently in March, I reduced the overdraft from £400.00 to £300.00 and was sent a letter the overdraft would be re-assessed in March 2011. I rang the number given to query the decision it was explained to me that this was final. And had been ammended under there terms and conditions for the following reasons; 1, I fail to credit the account with the monthly requirement. - £1100 per month is credited by my employer. 2, I do not run the account in accordance to there agreement. - I am yet to pay any fees and do not have unpaid transactions. 3, I have outstanding debts unpaid with themselves. - She was unable to provide evidence of this. 4, I have unpaid accounts with other creditors. - Untrue I owe £649.00 with Littlewoods, which is paid each month and I have a credit card with Crapone which I pay in full each month. 5, My past credit is at fault. - My last default was removed 5 yrs ago. 6, I have to much un-secured debt. My answer in point 4. I have free access to 2 free reports per year with Equifax through Crapone and Experian access through another package I have else were, I offered to send in a copy of these. She declined as they have made there decision. I am currently overdrawn by £98.00 which is within my limit of £300.00 and this will be cleared on Friday 14th May when my salary goes in. I have savings with the Natwest, the overdraft is just there for an emergency. Does the Halifax have a valid reason to reduce my overdraft. Or I are they just wanting to make more money out of me by having to pay the £2 a day charge for using an unathorised overdraft? I have emailed the CEO they have returned my call and advised this will be looked into, take the normal 8 weeks. Etc... Your thoughts please...
  14. Cheers for the advice. Nothing ventured nothing gained as you said. At the end of the day will only cost me a stamp.
