  1. Ci, Have input all my data and will be altering the "template letter" today to accompany it - they owe me approx £600 in total. I will allow them 14 days to refund in full or will take them to the courts. Will keep you posted and good luck to you too!

  3. Fight for every penny they owe you - I expect they will settle well before court as they can't defend something that they are not allowed to do in the first place. Fight for it and then settle your debt and keep the change!

  5. Not true - you should pay no more than £10 - try again and TELL them you request your statements for £10.
  6. I'm lucky they only owe me £40 of charges but my partner mrplan74 had the same extreme charges from Capital One for years and years and years - but we are going to get the buggers 8) lol.

  8. Hi, its not a stupid question - I believe this situation applies to all credit agreements as well as banks and credit card companies. Many people are addressing these other institutions is you look in the section "OTHER INSTITUTIONS" on the forum you will find them. I would suggest you send the same template letter to all who have charged you and request statements.

  17. Hi, Myself and my partner (Mrplan74) have now both sent off our first stage letter to Capital One Credit card which we both have. Credit Card companies can be done as well as the banks - both have stupidly high charges!! Good luck.
  18. Ci, I have replied with a short note thanking for their email, etc. and that I will be in touch in due course. I intend to amend the template letter and include the exact amount when I have the figures to input into the spreadsheet and send the whole thing off and give them a 14 day deadline to pay in full the amount they owe me. Thats my plan! Good luck to you and keep us posted, I'll do the same!
  19. Ci, I have just received the same email. Bring it on!! hehe
  20. Wow!!! I have a reply already! (how quick?! ) Thank you for the e-mail, which has been passed to this office by the On-line Helpdesk. I am sorry to learn that you are unhappy over the level of charges you have incurred on your Lloyds TSB accounts. Under the circumstances, your e-mail has been passed on to the Manager of the Complaints Unit within Customer Care. I have asked that he notes your comments and issues raised and that a response is sent to you at the earliest opportunity. Regards Keith Boden Lloyds TSB - Customer Care Birmingham
